The waitress was very friendly, the menu was sufficiently varied, and the atmosphere was charming. On a rainy day (which happens frequently in Oregon) this would definitely be a place to get away from it all with some cottage warmth. My friend ordered a sandwich with the Carrot-Ginger Soup, which she thought was amazing. I had a green salad with... More

Set in an old house, this little restaurant offers good food, a pleasant environment and no feeling of being rushed. We had brunch about 11:30 am., there was only breakfast on the menu. The fried potatoes were excellent, among a generous breakfast offering. Good service. Price was quite good. But the nice thing is that we stayed for over 90... More

Very slow service. If we hadn't requested bread we would have actually left hungry, a first for a dinner out. My salmon was overcooked and my husband said his batter-coated halibut tasted like Gorton's. Be aware that the reason the dinners seem so reasonably-priced is that the only thing that comes with the entree is a large dinner salad (ie.... More

Had their Warm Black Forest Ham (half) Sandwich with cup of Tuscan Vegetable soup. Delicious and only $7.50. Was plenty of food. I am quite full. The atmosphere is also very nice.

Finding the Pink House requires driving Monmouth St Independence and looking for the signs, it’s not that easy to find. Maybe not everyone wants the Pink House to be discovered; even now there can be a bit of a wait to get in during lunch. I would like to say that I have tried many of the interesting items on... More

Our family of 9 made reservations for Brunch for Mothers Day. We had a nice room to ourselves. The house is very inviting with flowers blooming and seating on the porch. There is also outdoor seating on a patio behind the house. The food was excellent and served hot. Some had breakfast dishes and others had lunch. EVERYONE was happy... More

When we walked in to the sweet old pink house, I thought, "Hmm, is this going to be cutesy?" But, no. The meal and service were both exceptional. A unique menu. A great surprise for this small rural town.

I highly recommend this place. I didn't know what to expect but as soon as I came in I was impressed and pleased. It is an old house. It is a tiny, cute, cozy and beautiful place. I am usually strict when it comes to restaurants or cafes but this one got me immediately. I was there during lunch time... More

I love this place! Love their chicken salad, and particularly liked their ribs for dinner. Service and setting are really great. You will not be disappointed.

Read good reviews and enjoyed seeing a nice old residence turned to restaurant. service was fast and friendly. Two stories of tables. I ordered a dish that had a too watery sauce and one piece of bread that, at first, I thought tasted stale. I went back before leaving and it was definitely stale bread. When we got home I... More
