Super friendly & great food

The owner seated us - he & the rest of the staff were super friendly. Our kids had the pizza and we had Moroccan stew & Quinoa curry- both were very flavorful and filling. Strongly recommend Solstice!

We ate there both nights we were in town as it was so good. I enjoyed gluten free mac n cheese and gluten free pizza and a gf dessert and it was all amazing!

These guys create great pizza. But the real secret are the daily specials. The chef loves to create dishes with local ingredients and it shows. The ambience is super kid friendly with a play area to one side. Outdoor seating rocks !!! Gets crowded as its really popular .. So go early , play a cross the street then enjoy

Though a bit on the expensive side the pizza here is first class. My daughter and I saw the cherry/chorizo/goat cheese pizza and just had to try it. Wonderful! Only downside was that they did not have seating on the front porch, which would enhance the experience.

I realize people get crazy about pizza and I won't get into an argument about what regional style is best or what should and should not be on one. I will say that the wood fired Country Girl Cherry pizza at Solstice is, without a doubt, my favorite pizza I have ever had. Cherry, Chorizo and Goat Cheese on a... More

I live 20 minutes away, in The Dalles. I go to a famous and fabulous Endonist that works next door. I was fascinated by the restaurant. I've been to my Endonist twice and I've been to Solstice twice. I can't eat the darned pizza until 3 hours after my procedure. But it's heaven. The muskiness of the crust, the dynamics... More

All the effort they put into this hipster hangout doesn't make up for the waste of a the wood fire pizza oven. Our pie was undercooked and chewy, toppings were sparse. Speaking of toppings, there are things here that should not be on a 'real' pizza ... Butternut squash? On another note, you can create a $15.50 hamburger if you... More

We stopped for a late lunch after hiking in the Gorge area - to find lunch specials still underway - $2/slice a pizza!! Both the wood fired cheese and the pepperoni were fabulous, but our surprise favorite were the pomodoro meatballs. They were served in a bowl with so you could savor the meatballs and all the sauce. Staff was... More

The pizza here is amazing, but the chef's are a little heavy handed with the salt. The Autumn salad I had was the best and they have a great beer selection. They also have a nice kids' play area.

Whenever my son and his wife visit from San Francisco, they want to go to Solstice for a wood-fired Pizza. A favorite is the Solstice pizza with hot coppa ham, pineapple chutney, shredded mozzarella and Jalapeno cream sauce. On December 9, 2014 I was there with a large group and so got to sample all eight of their current pizzas... More
