Great pizza, great atmosphere, great view and great service!

We went to Solstice pizza in Hood River Oregon last week with eight of us, no reservations. They were very accommodating even though the place was quite full on a Thursday evening, and they were able to put together a few tables for us quickly. Very family oriented - We had three 8 year-olds... read more

This place has good reviews and it didn't disappoint! The pizzas are creative and flavorful. Salads were well prepared and fresh. Service was very attentive. This one is a riverfront gem in Hood River!!!!

The desk clerk at the Best Western Hood River recommended Solstice...and we are so glad her did. This place is a gem. There was a little bit of a wait for dinner...but we didn't mind, as there's a fabulous park right across the street so our young kids could run around and get their energy out before dinner. The wood-fired... More

Seen that viral video of the Surfer? Pitted so pitted bro? Thats this restaurant. Busy, trendy, good. Best wood fired pepperoni pizza I've had in some time, to be fair, I was famished. Packed tight with sideways hats and the latest tee shirts and wind surfing gear wearing dudes, the street outside was a who's who of my bad boy... More

Great place to get a different off the wall thin crust wood fired pizza. I think it depends on the season. One time we stopped we ordered a small (for 2) and got pear on it. The next time we got peach. Odd toppings I thought but worth a try and they were both great. Worth a stop, can sit... More

Had the cherry pizza and gluten free Mac and cheese. Food was pretty good but didn't blow us away. Wish I'd saved room to try their gluten free desserts. Had trouble with flies around our inside table because the doors were open. Moved outside and had a much better experience.

We had dinner at Solstice one evening while on vacation in Oregon. We all had pizza, and the wood-fired oven really delivered. Thin but tender crust and delicious pizza overall. Desserts were also very good. One of my favorite meals while we were vacationing in the Columbia River Gorge area. The only "cons" from my perspective were (a) you need... More

This is a fabulous restaurant in a new-ish district fronting the Columbia River. Almost impossible to get into at night, we opted for lunch. The service was spot-on, the vibe was great and the food was excellent. The pizza was a perfectly grilled thin crust which came out crispy and covered with in season local mushrooms and cheese (I ordered... More

Jennifer was an outstanding server who provided the greatest recommendations. We happened to be in Hood River for work. We choose this place based on the reviews from Trip Advisor. We were NOT disappointed! To start their drink menu was excellent! They have an extensive amount of specialty drinks. They have a great selection of local wines and tequila. I... More
