We stopped in Hood River for breakfast and Egg Harbor seemed the top recommendation. I had French Toast with a side of peanut butter because I was crazing something sweet. The toast was well prepared, eggy but not soggy and browned to perfection. My wife had a veggie benny on polenta squares with hash browns. Her benny tasted great. We... More

This is a cute place with friendly service. And they use organic eggs & serve organic fair trade coffee. I enjoyed the crepes florentine and my hubby liked his eggs Benedict. We agreed that the hollandaise sauce was yummy. Great little place to visit in Hood River.

Take my son out to breakfast here because it's his favorite breakfast. The food is fantastic. The service always great! The acoustics of the small space can be loud, but the food is what we are after.

After visiting scenic Hood River for 3 days, we decided on one last meal before "heading out" to Mt. Hood, Sandy, Silverton, McMinnville, Portland.....We had passed the Egg Harbor Café several times in our car, saw the lines outside, and decided to "give it a try". It was difficult to find a parking spot, but after driving "around the block"... More

Egg River Cafe was a wonderful place to go for breakfast, best breakfast that I have had in a long time. Cute, cozy little place. If I am ever in the area again, I will make sure I go back.

We eat breakfast out regularly and on our recent trip to Hood River visited Egg Harbor. It's a noisy busy place with inadequate parking, but the reason rests in the food. My test for any breakfast cafe is can they make their blueberry pancackes right? Pancakes are often rubbery or overcooked and the blueberry variety is the real test. EH's... More

Under it's current name of "Egg RIver Café", this is a nice, easy stop for breakfast in the Hood. Take the first Hood River Exit from I-84, pass Walmart and Safeway, and this restaurant will be on your left. Very good omelettes, fresh baked bread, nicely browned hashbrowns, all served promptly with great coffee. The special croissant benedict was a... More

Highly recommended for a hearty breakfast before a long day out in the Columbia Gorge. As the name suggests it specialises in egg based breakfasts. Those sampled were delicious, as was the house coffee.

This place is now called Egg River Cafe. The food was yummy and the restaurant had egg- and chicken-related decorations. Although the parking at the restaurant and across the street was full on Sunday morning, around the corner is a park with parking lot.

We just spent the weekend in Hood River and happened upon this little breakfast spot. Although we had to wait a few minutes to get in, it was definitely worth the wait. I had a sausage scramble, my sister had huevos rancheros, and my sister in law had biscuits and gravy and an omelet. They were all amazing, especially the... More
