This place blew us away. Started with great, fun cocktails, moved on to one of the best appetizers I've ever had, Curry Artichoke Dip with fresh baked bread, Dry-aged New York strip with au gratin potatoes, which hubby was wondering about until he tasted then & then fell in love. We had a flour less chocolate torte with homemade vanilla... More

I loved the blue cheese and bacon burger, fantastic, and the fries were great as well. I love the setting, the staff is great. I will definitely go back again!!

Great beer and a lively fun atmosphere. Family friendly with good food. The burgers are huge! You will not go hungry here.

Not all restaurants in Hood River can be visited more than once (the quality of the items is not always consistent), but I can't remember a bad menu item at Sixth Street. Love the downstairs. Like being in a sexy bistro in Monterey or Manhattan, with food to match. Waiters are top notch as are the ever-changing menu items. Highlight... More

We were the last ones in the place but the staff didn't rush us or make us feel unwelcome. Excellent pear and walnut salad and clam chowder for me and my niece had the honey crispy chicken sandwich which was excellent and she normally can't stand guacamole. Good prices, great location and service, can't beat that!

Do not pass up the opportunity to eat at this small, quaint, flavor packed grill. Great Bloody Mary, fantastic appetizer with grilled steak and rice, followed by an unpredictably tasty blackened salmon wrap! My husband loved the pear and walnut salad - a little on the sweet side for me- but that's just my weird sense that only desert should... More

Pretty good, but not special or amazing. Good local foods. Very friendly service. Decent ambience. Super yummy salty house cut shoestring fries and the pear walnut salad was delish.

My wife and I almost always eat here when we make the 150 round trip to Hood River. Their Pear and Walnut Salad with house-made maple vinaigrette is the best. Two levels of both indoor and outside seating offer everything from friendly bar gatherings to quiet areas to a nice view of the Columbia River. We've never had anything but... More

I guess the crowds that pack this place tells you they must have good food. I think the food was good, not great. Sometimes the wait for a table is a bit long. Decent pace to bring kids too.

Very average food, slightly in attentive service. The dining room was very loud. Since it was full, we sat outside instead. It was a little chilly but quiet. My husband had a burger; good size but not cooked to order. He requested medium well and got well done instead. I had the mushroom and seasonal vegetable pot pie. Nice idea... More
