We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast at the Riverside as part of our two-nite stay at the Best Western. We sat outside both days. While it was a bit bright, we really enjoyed our meal overlooking the river. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Highly recommended.

This restaurant sits alongside the peaceful Hood River in Oregon. Not only is it a beautiful and relaxing site, but the gluten-free breakfast was the best I've ever eaten. Try the homemade gluten-free biscuits. The sausage which accompanies is very flavorful. I loved the local marionberry jam.

Lunch had liver and onions that my wife craves. I had fish and chips plus a local IPA. Good clam chowder, excellent cod and my wife says the liver was exceptional (I'll take her word for it). Prices were somewhat high for lunch in a small town, but I wouls return.

Since this was our "big night out" in Hood River, we spent a lot of time researching where to eat. Four people with very different tastes....where could we all be happy? Decided to give Riverside a try - wow! From the first dish to the last, we were all exceptionally pleased. Grilled calamari on lentils, fresh delicious salmon on a... More

It was spitting rain the night we had dinner here, so we didn't get the full benefit of the deck views, but we found the dining room pleasant. The kale salad with golden beets was exceptional. Both of our pasta dishes (the mushroom and the shrimp/sausage) were generous enough for the next day's breakfast, although the shrimp had more flavor.... More

If you haven't been here for dinner on the back deck in the summer you are missing out. Awesome place to sit outside and enjoy the evening! Beautiful view, great service and food. The menu has options for everyone from super fresh, perfectly prepared salmon to large portions of Italian pasta. Also try the super yummy white bean veggie burger... More

We drove to Hood River for lunch while day-tripping the Columbia River Gorge. Riverside is right along the river, in the Best Western. We sat on the deck, so *really* right along the river. Food was good, and so was the service.

Good food and service, but the best was sitting outside watching the gorge and the Columbia river move from late afternoon, sunset, then dusk. Great fresh, local blueberry pie!

Had lunch here while visiting Columbia River Gorge and Northern Oregon. Sat on lovely patio on a perfect weather day. A very pleasant setting. Service, trying for upscale, was adequate. Menu fairly limited and a little over-priced. Food was very average. A few at table didn't like their choices at all. Seemed hit-and-miss based on menu item. I would recommend... More
