Lovely Find in Hood River

Wasn't sure what kind of food we would find at a Pourhouse but were so pleasantly surprised. Delicious drinks & wine were followed by some really good food. The risotto was the best we've eaten in a long while. All four of us were so happy with our meals. It is on our list to come here again.

We've lived in the Gorge for over 3 decades and I don't remember the exact year that Brian's opened, but it's been a relaxed bar & restaurant that has never failed us over these many years. The food is excellent, but that is not why I gave it five stars. Brian's gets 5 stars for being very consistent in service,... More

If you are in Hood River this is one place I would put on the "don't miss" list. We stopped here after a day of wine tasting in the area and were delighted to find a friendly, well decorated restaurant with an interesting menu and good service. There was seating both inside and out, though if you sat inside there... More

We had a wonderful meal in this comfortable restaurant. The cannelloni and gnochi are fabulous. It was obvious that the pasta is made from scratch, not frozen. The subtlety of spices and sauces are a sign that a lot of care goes into the recipes. The service is as good as the food. Don't miss a chance to experience the... More

My fiancé and I met up with some family at Brian's this past Wednesday. We showed up towards the end of the night, but we were greeted warmly by the bartender. He provided excellent service and we really enjoyed our beer and wine. We were very impressed by the service and we will definitely be in for a full meal... More

My boyfriend and I went here for dessert and cocktails after a nice dinner at Cecilo. We had some version of a spiked coffee with whipped cream on top, which was absolutely delicious!...so delicious I ordered a second :-) We split apple pie ala mode (salted caramel ice cream) which was also delicious. It's a cute little place with a... More

Convergence zone for friendly conversation and awesome tales. Good place to meet people if you are traveling alone. Beware the pear martini (sip slowly) and try the dirty dentist. I went here every night on my trip. Food is also excellent, best apple pie ala mode! Small plates as well as entrees available. Great place to get some veggies, or... More

One of our favorite haunts. Always great food and creative drinks. When the Elk Meatloaf is on the menu, DON"T MISS IT! Amazing! The kitchen does a great job with everything we've ever had and the staff always seem well informed, conscientious, and truly interested in providing a great dining experience.

It was a busy night and our waitress had way to many tables. The calamari was over cooked and they comped us for it. The angus burger was fine. We would like to try this place on a slower night.
