If you are in Hood River this is one place I would put on the "don't miss" list. We had a wonderful meal in this comfortable restaurant. The cannelloni and gnochi are fabulous. It was obvious that the pasta is made from scratch, not frozen. The subtlety of spices and sauces are a sign that a lot of care goes into the recipes. The service is as good as the food. Don't miss a chance to experience the... More

My fiancé and I met up with some family at Brian's this past Wednesday. We showed up towards the end of the night, but we were greeted warmly by the bartender. He provided excellent service and we really enjoyed our beer and wine. We were very impressed by the service and we will definitely be in for a full meal... More

My boyfriend and I went here for dessert and cocktails after a nice dinner at Cecilo. We had some version of a spiked coffee with whipped cream on top, which was absolutely delicious!...so delicious I ordered a second :-) We split apple pie ala mode (salted caramel ice cream) which was also delicious. It's a cute little place with a... More

Convergence zone for friendly conversation and awesome tales. Good place to meet people if you are traveling alone. Beware the pear martini (sip slowly) and try the dirty dentist. I went here every night on my trip. Food is also excellent, best apple pie ala mode! Small plates as well as entrees available. Great place to get some veggies, or... More

One of our favorite haunts. Always great food and creative drinks. When the Elk Meatloaf is on the menu, DON"T MISS IT! Amazing! The kitchen does a great job with everything we've ever had and the staff always seem well informed, conscientious, and truly interested in providing a great dining experience.

It was a busy night and our waitress had way to many tables. The calamari was over cooked and they comped us for it. The angus burger was fine. We would like to try this place on a slower night.

We stayed one night at The Dalles and wandered along Hood River main streets in the evening. We were attracted to this place from first sight. Food was very tasty. We were hungry and appreciated the generous plates service was good and our waitress was charming. We loved the place.

After a day of hiking Hood Mountain in the rain we stopped in here for dinner. I asked if we could dine here dressed as we were and we were made to feel very welcome. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak and I had the Mushroom Pasta and we got Chocolate Pudding Cake to go. My husbands Cheesesteak was huge... More

We spent three nights in Hood River and couldn't take ourselves away from Brian's Pourhouse. We went every night it was so good. Great ambiance, beer on tap, service, and the food is phenomenal. Had the chicken one night, mushroom pasta another, and the fish tacos the last night. All were very very good. Going back next week on our... More
