We had breakfast and made the mistake of also ordering a cinnamon roll. Breakfast was very tasty but more than we could finish. The cinnamon roll was about four times as large as we expected, but they gave us a to-go box and we munched on it for the rest of the day. If you're planning a full day of... More

Stopped for gas and asked about a good local restaurant for breakfast. The young man said "Bette's has been downtown for longer than I have been alive." It was founded as a family owned restaurant in 1975 but he did not tell me that they offered Crab Omelette. He should have because I tried it and found the crab, topped... More

Eggs Benedict with turkey & avocado was amazing. Great service. Huge portions. Good food. Fruit side order was large and very fresh assortment of fruit.

Great place to have a hearty morning meal. The cinnamon rolls were huge! The menu is huge! The homemade pies were mouth-watering! The lines to get in are long on the weekend. Be sure to check out the daily specials.

We loved Bette's Place. The very best cinnamon rolls that are so big that you can share with the whole table. Also great breakfast options, great service....we ate here three times during our week stay in Hood River...that say lots!!

Good food, good service, reasonable prices, this restaurant has shown itself to be always dependable on all those counts. It is easily accessed by foot if you're walking around Hood River. Parking (which is on the street) may be a bit more challenging but so far we haven't had any trouble.

OMG!! The size of the plates…don’t go unless you’re super hungry or sharing a meal. The food is great! The service wonderful! Plus, the Cinnamon Rolls are big enough for four people. My wife and I bought one and ate on it all day. You can’t go wrong with Bette’s a must do on any visit to Hood River.

Yeah. I'm not kidding. They don't have them every day, but we were lucky to hit Hood River on a day when Bette's DID have their cinnamon rolls. I wouldn't have even known had I not gotten up from our booth to check out their pie rack--which looked amazing too. But there to my left, were dozens of cinnamon rolls... More

Stopped for lunch and one of us thrilled to find breakfast served all day. The careful eater in the group delighted with gluten-free biscuits. And all of us swooned over fresh, locally grown marion berry pie. New to the PNW? Marion berries are hybridized blackberries developed by USDA and Oregon University, only grown in Oregon. A must-have!
