This place was ok, but after reading lots of reviews about great beer and pizza, we were sadly let down. Unfortunately we didn't think the pizza was very good and I definitely think Pfreim has much better beer. There are better restaurants and breweries in Hood River. Sorry Double Mountain.

Traveling through and stopped for lunch. Our first choice was closed, and we're glad it was because we found a great place to eat. My husband devoured his meatball sandwich, and I had the Turkey Cheddar Bacon, which was also very good. We had their root beer and a cherry beer, which we liked and would order again.

In my opinion, Double Mountain has the best beer in the Columbia Gorge. They have a good selection of serious NW beers, and show a lot of creativity in brewing. The beers are no-nonsense as in no lawn-mower beers here. If you want a weak, pale beer, get a Sessions Lager across the street (still good on a hot day).... More

This place scores over Full Sail, as it offers free beer tasting and gives enough time and taste to customers to actually decode what they want. The spinach salad is really delicious and really Appreciate the serving staff!way to go !!

We stopped into Double Mountain Brewery on our way from Kennewick to Portland. We loved the style of the old building with it's industrial feel and copper bar tops. I enjoyed their Porter and my husband, who likes a good bitter hoppy beer didn't enjoy their imperial IPA. A bad taste hung on, he said. The food was good. They... More

Food was good, service was pleasant. No live music while we were there, which was OK with us but most of the people I've heard rave about this place went partly for the music and socializing. Good beer, lots of variety.

Had the "F.O.T.M." (Fire on the Mountain). Spicy with mozz, roasted chicken, tomato hot wing sauce, blue cheese crumbles and fresh green onions. The "Off The Wagon" Belgium barley wine (candied apples with a blanket of stone fruit, fig and dark honey) was wonderful as brandy and sherry made their way forward in the mouth, followed my some warmth. It... More

I'm not in love with the food or pizzas though the menu is extensive and my friends all love it, just not my style of food, that being said, the beer I think is some of the best (in an area that makes a lot of good beer) and when they play music, the place is awesome. Definitely worth a... More
