Loved it all. A romantic setting with 1920's fixtures and motif. We also had snacks in the grandest bar with large fireplace and an old piano player who has been playing here since the 1940's.

Dinner at sunset overlooking the Columbia River in this historic site was wonderful. The service was personal and very attentive. The food was outstanding: scallops that were so tender they melted in my mouth!

Great Meals, enjoyed both the breakfasts and dinners. Snacks in the Valentinl Bar were served from the restaurant and were a great compliment to adult beverages.

I often mention my wife's food allergies. quite by accident the Chef (Paul) passed by my wife and she struck up a conversation about her allergies. He indicated that he'll make her a great meal. later when we were seated he came to our table and discussed what he would make for her. He added a couple things off menu... More

A friend recommended eating in the restaurant, and I'm glad he did! The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Our view was of the Columbia River. The portion of our sandwiches and fries was generous. In fact, we brought some back. The hotel is on the national registry for historic hotels, providing the atmosphere of a by-gone era. The Wah... Perfect food, perfect wine, and the best omelette we've ever had! Beautiful settings for all meals (different locations available around the hotel). Breakfast area had some of the original furniture so it felt as if you were walking back in time a bit. Great experience.

On a trip to Hood River, my girlfriends and I stop by Simon's for lunch. Lunch was fabulous! The view was great from the dining room. One friend is gluten-intolerant and the staff was very helpful in pointing out the gluten-free options. She even checked the kitchen for any leftovers from breakfast. The Monte Cristo was wonderful - just enough... More

We chose Simon's for our Valentine's dinner this year. Most of the staff was very warm and helpful. Our waitress, however, was distracted and never really connected. The location is beautiful, but not so much so after dark. I ordered shrimp which were okay, but the potato and vegetables that came with them were lukewarm at best. My wife ordered... More
