We stumbled into a great little restaurant in Hood River. The presentation was resourceful, the selections were edgy and the taste was wonderful. We were happy with the atmosphere, the pleasant staff and the desserts. Thumbs up for this little gem. More

We recently moved to Hood River, and were excited to check out Nora's Table. The menu looked great, and we'd read some good reviews. Unfortunately we never got the chance. Fifteen minutes after being seated, with no acknowledgement from the wait staff or even a drink order, we decided to walk around the block and eat at one of our... More

So concerned that the food originates from organic, local sources.....they lose the friendly ambiance of why people go out to dine. If you want a good steak and potato dinner or comfort food - you won;t get it here. Lots of vegetarian dishes, curried dishes....all good, robust flavors. I had a mushroom soup that was fantastic. Just wish the ambiance... More

Visited on a weekend and it was fairly busy. Seemed like a locals spot which is good if you're a local but the waitress was not very friendly towards me. Not rude or anything but just indifferent. I had a curry dish which was pretty good but the portion was very small and for what it was, a bit overpriced.... More

This restaurant was the highlight of our trip-and we dined in Portland and other restuarants. This a FIND!! So glad I passed on Celilo Restaurant and kept looking to find THIS !! We were looking for local ingredients used in a creative way in an intimate atmosphere with excellent service... and voila.. Nora's !! We had the restaurant practically to... More

This was a great restaurant to discover, courtesy of Trip Advisor. We are from off Cape Cod in Massachusetts and visiting the Columbia River Gorge for the first time. It won't be the last. The restaurant is cheerful, the wait staff were great. We settled on a selection of 4 appetizers to share; each one had its own special nuance... More

Truth is Noras presents a good face. Nice atmosphere, pretty exposed giant beams tie well into the green hue floor and gentle green accents on the walls. Simple white paper coated tables with clean pine wood seating does a nice touch to ambiance. The food, well, it's hard to screw up the concept: simple ingredients from local providers. There's a... We had a wonderful time dining at Nora's. The service was cheerful and prompt. The atmosphere was as comfortable as I've ever been in a Hood River restaurant; it made me want to stick around for dessert and drinks, and made the wait for our food enjoyable. The flavors were delicious. However, the meat was cooked incorrectly. We had a... More

This is one of those special restaurants you want to keep to yourself. The fear is - if it gets too popular, well, it gets TOO popular. I debated writing this review but just had to let others know about Nora's. Scallops in corn puree, salmon with pesto in filo, smoked salmon spring rolls with a delicate lemon dipping sauce.... More
