Good meal

We visited early this month. Food was good, definitely a solid chef working on some very nice flavor combinations. We started with olive plate that was accompanied by a milky cheese that was like nothing I had tasted before. The entrees were very good, though I agree with the other reviews that... read more

As folks have mentioned, the restaurant recently changed name to KIN. It still has a farmhouse feel with nice use of crates and natural items for decor. The menu was exotic yet comfortable with several ingredients that I wasn't familiar with (guess I don't speak hipster fluently.) There was a good selection of small and large plates great for sharing... More

Very Excellent food. Now named KIN. All agreed the Brisket Burger was the best ever. I ate raw vegan so that was a challenge. They do have Vegan just not RAW. The decor is very eclectic and fun. Friendly staff

I honestly don't understand the bad reviews for this place. We have visited four times over the last few weeks and every time, no matter what we order, it has been beyond delicious! They have a spectacular avocado and heirloom tomato salad, some of the best tomatoes we have ever had. Not sure what the green stuff on the scallops... More

Kin replaced Nora's Table as others have noted. The menu and decor are different but the attention to well prepared food continues. There is a thoughtful selection of locally gown salads, veggies and meat dishes in small and entree sizes. We brought our own wine, so I have no comment on their options. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu... More

As big fans of Nora's, we had to jump in quickly to sample the new restaurant. So the week after opening we tried breakfast, much to our disappointment. The "meals" were a la carte without being described as such, and just as expensive as you'd find a meal. When my wife asked for a steak knife to cut her toast... More

Roman and Amy have bought Nora's Table and are transforming the restaurant. The food is excellent with great variety, blending eastern European spices with a Mediterranean flavor and Pacific Northwest freshness. Roman is a meticulous chef who prepares large and small plates with finesse and style. We've been following them since they re-opened earlier this spring and have never been... More

Have gone once. Had a probably the best salmon I've ever had. Served with mashed potatoes. Not sure what kind of salad the next table was having, but it smelled great and I wished I'd ordered it to share like they did. Mint lemonade was good too.

We always visited Nora's when in Hood RIver but we learned it was taken over by a new team. Nora's is a hard act to follow but Kin's did not disappoint us. Our party of 4 chose to sample 4 appetizers and 3 of the lighter main courses and we really loved everything. The staff was friendly and service good.... More

Not very inviting atmosphere and Nora's has been replaced by Kin. We did not eat at Kin because there was nothing about it that enticed us to stay. The food may be great but this was not an inviting atmosphere to us on this particular visit.
