Great food

Great food and service. Some items are alittle pricey but well worth it. Cathy the owner is amazing.

The staff are very pleasant. This is a locally owned cafe that serves good old American food. They serve some of the best veggie burgers you will ever try--homemade from scratch. They also make amazing pies. Love this place for lunch.

I like these small non chain places. This one had been in business since 1970 and the lot was full of locals, looked promising. I got there just in time to get into the middle of a birthday party for an 80+ year old regular and a waitperson. The owner played "Happy Birthday" on a plastic horn, we all sang,... More

They have the best bison and elk burgers west of the Mississippi! I sometimes get one elk patty and one bison patty. Double greatness and a whole lot healthier. The beef patty is still the best there is. Not in for a burger their other entrees are really treat also. Enjoy you meal with there salad bar for added pleasure.

The food is excellent, well priced and abundantly provided. Service is friendly, with that extra special touch that comes from a desire to serve their customers needs.

This is the kind of Place you would expect to see on Dinners Drive Inn and Dives. Just a small town Mom And Pop Dinner, Great Home Cooking, Excellent service, and very Affordably priced. Get out of the Chain Resturants and See a Little Americana'.

Great local place for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Over the years I have eaten here often when visiting my family in Umatilla & Hermiston. It's kinda halfway between the cities & often busy. I like the fish & chips & my Mom loves their little salad bar, especially the pickles!

I eat out often and the Chuckwagon is one of my favorite local places!! We usually head up there for their burgers, fish and chips or prime rib on Friday nights. Their breakfast is always really good also. Never had a bad experience.

Not only has this restaurant been around for years, they have been providing excellent meals and service for all those years. If you are wanting a great home style meal, this is the place in this area to go. My biggest complaint is that at times they get a little too busy and the restaurant is just too small. I... More
