Not wanting to drive anymore, we thought we'd try the place across the street from our motel. Beware, the motel front desk staff recommended it and we believed them. The food was terrible and way over priced. We both had fish and chips, which were very greasy. We got seated in the bar and it was very noisy. Our waitress... More

This restaurant is not the typical seaside seafood place, even if it's not super good. Salmon and halibut specials were quite nice , and the side dishes set them off perfectly.

We ate dinner here. The food was average at best, the dinning room and bar were dingy and dirty and while there is a view the windows were too dirty to see out! Our server was friendly but our meal was constantly disrupted by a table of 4 who were very loud and offensive the entire time we were there.... More

Nice location, across from our hotel, the Best Western Beachfront Inn. Friendly service. I had a Shrimp Scampi the first night. The sauce the shrimp were served in, seemed very liquid and not what I had expected from a shrimp scampi sauce. It was prepared with capers and lots of lemon juice. The "red potatoes" were overcooked. Vegetables were good.... More

We ate lunch and dinner here with family. The food was average halibut fish and chips was pretty more bread than fish. Clam chowder was pretty good very creamy. The deserts were incredible. The coffee was weak and low quality. Where the restaurant really gets above average is the wait staff very very friendly, helpful, and observant. When traveling we... More

Went looking for seafood, on the harbor, this place should have crab. I even called since my family wanted crab and our first choice only had processed crab. They set us in the back, in the room they set up silverware and put in orders. 3 of is ordered crab, a few minutes later we were told the kitchen told... More

Food was average, fish fry really greasy in our opinion, Crab Cakes were okay - staff alright not overly friendly. Prices a little high for what food was given on plates. Not sure if we would go there again.

Avoid this overpriced tourist trap. We made reservations a week in advance, arrived five minutes early. Female receptionist told us table not available for half hour, very rude and sloppy in appearance. Clam chowder was thick and not tasty. Many other good, reasonable restaurants in Brookings area to choose from.

We wanted our two boys to have "real" seafood so we came to Sebatian's. We did splurge one time on this trip and this was the perfect place to do it. Crab, shrimp and local caught fish. All prepared wonderfully and the service impeccable. It is spendy for regular people...but, the quality of food and service is awesome!

We had lunch here and came back for dinner. They are so good about splitting things, and they don't charge for it. We split the crab sandwich and each had a cup of clam chowder. The sandwich was yummy, but the clam chowder hardly had any clams in it, and it was so thick your spoon could stand up in... More
