Truck-stop basic

A decent meal for a decent price. It's clean, and service is friendly. Meals are basic, and reasonably priced -- slightly above chain restaurants but good portions. It's just what it's supposed to be.

We eat here several times a year during rallies. The food and coffee are always luke warm and the Denver Omelete has absolutely no taste. Cheese a sharp cheese or something to make it flavorful.

staff attentive and nice. Atmosphere clean. I had a very dry and overlooked omelet with stale toast and my husband was surprised by a very overlooked dry meat patty on a stale bun. The French fries, ketchup and snickers jelly were good.

From the outside the pioneer saloon looks like a quaint small town restaurant, so of course, my girlfriend and I decided that would be the place to eat and the start to our eventful day at the BWCMF! When we walked in to sit down, we noticed it was a little busy, but that was to be expected! No one... More

Absolutely the worst experience ever! I have never felt the need to write a review until now. The service was ok, and the food looked good, until my husband went to eat a dinner roll, and it was moldy on the bottom! Ok, maybe it's just a one time thing and the bread is bad, I had an $18 Prime... More

Close to I-5 this truck stop and cafe has been my choice for years when traveling down the I-5 corridor. It is safe and clean and quick.

We were waited on quickly and our breakfasts came quickly. If you like bacon, be sure to order it here! It's outstanding! If you don't like bacon that much, this bacon may change your mind. Thick slices, cooked to order by a chef who also knows how to baste eggs to perfection. Outstanding meal!

We stopped there as part of a large bus group and no one would wait on my mom and I!! The woman who was supposed to be our waiter (we were at the counter) ignored us completely and when she did finally sigh and stop long enough to take our order (a good 20 minutes after everyone else in our... Had run out of places to stop for lunch so thought we'd wait until we hit the freeway. It was a cold day & I was wanting a hot meal. Stopped at the Pioneer Villa Saloon. It was also a cold day in the restaurant! My husband went back to the car to get his jacket & I wished I... More

The service was decent, the food was decent, the price was decent. The soup and salad were pretty good. The meatloaf was eh, eatable.
