good find hard to find

Very small 20 seats lost in the far east suburbs next to gresham high school rotisserie chickens rotating and revolving around a real wood fire homemade cilantro chicken soup purple corn pudding for desert call ahead to have them save you some of the chicken, as it takes time to make.

A great discovery just a few blocks from downtown Gresham. Fresh ingredients, prepared well, in an inviting atmosphere. Any place that welcomes carnivores, vegetarians and even vegans to come and enjoy food together at the same table is exciting to me. Don't overthink it, the menu is fairly straightforward and thoughtful. Make sure to order an Inca Kola to complete... More

The chicken is the best I've had and you can tell it is slow roasted all day - you can actually see it spinning in their big hearth when you go in. The dipping sauces for it are not a must, but really gives it a whole new twist. Not sure what herbs and spices they use, but the Peruvians... More

I have only been there once, but got the tomato based soup with seafood in it, and a fried fish and rice dish. The sauces had a taste combination that I had never tasted before. It was excellent.

We live in Portland and have been wanting to go to this restaurant for months, but we never felt motivated enough to do the drive (approx. 15 miles away). Finally, we went on Saturday. AMAZING. Their specialty is chicken and they have excellent seafood as well as vegetarian options. Make sure you order: *Chicha morada (non-alcohonlic drink, which they make... More

Discovered this place, a "hole in the wall" restaurant in a tiny strip mall, on a whim several years ago when it first opened. Simple and small dining room, but serves great Peruvian food. Specialty is chicken. It is my wife's favorite place in the area. Been there many times, always satisfying.

I ordered a 1/2 roasted chicken for $12.49 that was served along with fries and a salad, thinking it would be large enough to share with my son. The chicken was a little dry and rather bland until you add the sauces to it. The half portion is definitely on the smaller scale. The fries were limp and the salad... More

I was in this neighborhood accidentally and saw several reviews hanging on the wall here. I thought I was walking into a Mexican restaurant and what a pleasant surprise to learn I would soon be dining on Peruvian food with incredibly moist chicken (the basis for many of the entrees). The wait staff serve a variety of sauces that range... More

thought with the reviews I would try it. Took my sweetheart there and the first impression of the place was RUN. it was dirty, service was poor at best, ordered a calamari and asked if we could get it first before are main meal. he said nothing. then brought all the food at once. Said the kitchen doesn't like to... More

Stick with the roasted chicken, it's the only thing worthy. Have eaten here 3times....but never again. Twice made the mistake of ordering off menu. Food was bland with frozen veggies. Service was very slow and inconsistent. Our table of three all ate at different times though we ordered at the same time. Each plate was delivered separately as if they... More
