It's only open for breakfast and lunch, so go early. The portions are HUGE! As noted in a previous review, it is the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. And there was enough on the plate for at least two meals. The staff will keep your coffee cup filled. The omelets are works of art. If the place is... More

McCrae's Cafe in Gresham, OR has a great chicken fried steak breakfast along with many other great choices. The portions are HUGE, plan on sharing and taking some home. Anything you order at this great restaurant will come bigefied (my word) and you will not be disappointed. If you come here during busy hours, plan on a wait....it is that... More

homestyle food, sure to please. The omelettes are HUGE.. order 1/2 size for the normal appetite! The food comes hot and plenty tasty. Downfall.. normally really crowded on weekend mornings.

At so many breakfast places, I have trouble finding vegetarian options. The green pepper and onion potatoes here are very good though! My family likes this place for the large portions. Classic American breakfast food.

Over crowded under staffed over priced garbage with nasty processed cheese on their food it ruined our breakfast and turned it in to a $15 pile of crap if you like paying 3 star prices and getting 1 star quality food then this is the place for you

The food is very good and perfectly cooked. The servings are big, so don't go unless you have an appetite. It isn't fancy, but the service is very friendly and fast.

It's okay, pretty much forgettable is the best I can say. Service was adequate, food was okay, price was high for what it is, atmosphere was very casual and furnishings very dated. About the only memorable thing is the 12 egg omelet, not that I had one mind you, but memorable nonetheless!

I come here for the country special for breakfast and the cowboy burger for lunch. Not every day of course, but definately on the restaurant rotation. Unfortunately they are not flexible with menu/food substitutions. Always plenty of seats available, even when busy.

We took a group of 13 seniors here for lunch. Everything was perfect. Great food, huge portions (check out the milkshakes!), perfect service even with our large group. It was our first time here but it won't be our last. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
