thank God for restaurant.com if it wasn't for that place we would have never eaten there.total waste of money.after waiting for a half hour the waitress came back and thanked us for being so patient. Nothing patient about that just bad service. Overrated and understaffed.terrible food....

Mediocre food and lots of it. I visited this restaurant after purchasing a restaurant.com gift card. Sadly, the food, while plentiful, was not very good. Actually the more I think about it, the food was borderline bad. I had the salmon and my wife had the Chicken Chipolte pasta. I had eaten there years ago and it was pretty decent.... More

Truffle hunter has some really tasty soup, salad and sandwich options, appropriate for lunch or brunch. The ingredients and flavors are really good, and features nice county-style breads. The sandwich sizes are ridiculous. A full sized sandwich could easily feed two hungry people or three normal people. The so-called "light eaters" option of a half sandwich and cup of soup... More

Always my favorite place to eat for ANY meal! Come with an empty stomach and be prepared to save room for the amazing array of specialty HOMEMADE sliced pies (which the server brings out on a tray to show you the selection!) .... I would recommend ordering just 1/2 a sandwich because even that portion is enough for lunch AND... More

The Truffle Hunter is truly a favorite, ( and special ), restaurant of our family. We were first introduced to this restaurant in the late 90's, and I have to say we go there 5 to 6 each year. While "Sandwiches" are their specialty, ( and what we typically order ), their dinner entrees are equally worthy of praise. Everything... More

A friend of mine once met his petite wife there for lunch - for her first time. He joking claimed that he wasn't hungry an ordered only a salad - which impressed her. But, he got her to order a whole sandwich (even though she really wasn't hungry). Obviously, she was flabbergasted when it came; and of course insisted that... More

We eat at the Trufflehunter once a year because that's when my sis-in-law comes to town, and it's her favorite place. I agree with others that the Mushroom soup is really, really good, and that the portions are very large. Also love the garlic fries. However, as a group we have found that sometimes the homemade sandwich bread can be... More

The Truffle Hunter is one of Gresham's best kept secrets. It is not very flashy from the outside so it is easy to miss. My wife and I usually have a date night here once a month. All of their food is homemade / made from scratch. Their Hungarian Mushroom Soup is absolutely delicious and is a must have. Keep... More

Truffel Hunter is the place to go if your a bread lover! The food is very good too, but the freshly baked bread is YUMMY! The menu has some of the "usual" items on it, and also some, unique to them. Their lunch choices are many, and if you want a really good sandwich, this is the place for you.
