Home cooking and large portions make this a great destination

The menu is varied but we always seem to wander back to the plates that taste like home cooked pot roast or turkey or chicken. Their sandwiches are huge. They make there own amazing bread and rolls. You will be tempted by the huge desserts - big enough to share. Highly recommended. One tip: it... read more

I like the place. For Gresham Oregon, it's one of the few nearby places that presents at least a little charm for the atmosphere with its eclectic set up in an old house. Though it was a little cold in there with our recent visit. It should be said, the four or five times I've been there with the wife,... More

Homemade breads, delicious sandwiches, to die for soups, desserts for royalty, and fun friendly service. What more do you want?

Wife requested take-out. Had $15 left from gift card. She ordered pork dinner by phone. Girl taking order didn't seem to know much about the meal. Arrived on time, meal hot and ready. Got home, no veggies, otherwise very satisfying and filling for two.

We have eaten here for years. Love their homemade bread (sandwiches) and soups. Always fresh & delicious. Recommend sharing a sandwich so you can have one of the delicious homemade desserts.

This isn't your typical restaurant - it is an old converted house so it IS homey and cozy. The food is delicious and you get HUGE portions. From the sandwiches to the burgers to the dinners it is all really good. We have never had a bad meal here. We especially love the garlic parmesan fries. Don't forget to take... More

Truffle Hunter has great sandwiches and very large ones to. My wife and I have to split one and we walk away full. They make the own bread for the sandwiches. They do run out of bread at times but most of the time, they have bread. They have other dishes but we love the sandwiches.

Got into Portland on our way to Warm Springs. We had planned on meeting some friends who live here, for lunch. They suggested this place, and are we ever glad they did. Don't let the outside fool you, this place serves good food and lots of it. The staff is friendly and do a good job. I am not much... More

We found this restaurant through yelp and it had great reviews, so we decided we must try. We were put in a room with three other occupied tables while the room next door only had one table occupied. That would be my only complaint. Otherwise there were many choices on the menu and we had a hard time deciding what... More
