Heidi's is a great favorite place to eat. Food is fresh. Breakfast is so good with fresh strawberries and whipped cream on my Belgian waffle. Staff is courteous and food was served promptly even though the restaurant was full on a Sunday at 11 am. They also cater to the elderly which impresses me!

Used to eat here a lot with grandparents so we revisited while in the Gresham area for Memorial Day. The cozy, Alpine cabin atmosphere hasn't changed and it brought back many good memories. Our breakfasts were very good and the waitress was a kick! I generally HATE pancakes (too mushy & sweet!), but I was almost tempted to take a... More

First the staff is great and very friendly! Our food came quickly and tasted great. The omelet was very large and packed full of yummy stuff and the blackberry blitz was light and delicous! I love how all the wait staff acted as if they have known you for years. Will definately be back and recommend to everyone.

Heidi's consistently provides good food and good service. The menu includes a great selection of items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It offers more variety over the comparable Denny's and Elmer's type restaurant. Reasonable prices are a plus. Their desserts and pastries look wonderful, too, though I haven't indulged (yet). They also have a unique gift shop attached to the... More

We'd hiked 13 miles that day so were ravenous. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday and were immediately seated. I had the halibut fish & chips (well, fish & mashed potatoes & gravy - but that doesn't look as appealing on a menu), small bowl of clam chowder, side salad and another side of vegetable medley. The clam chowder... More

I was so intrigued by Heidi's high rating that I convinced my husband we should try it. We eat out quite a bit, but would absolutely never choose a restaurant like this typically. We got there later than planned (745 on a Friday night), but the restaurant was still fairly full. The menu is extensive, almost too extensive. How could... More

I had heard reviews of huge portions, and then others (from a local) of small portions. Our portion sizes were adequate. I had the fried cod, fish and chips, with coleslaw, and my husband had the pressure cooked fried chicken with salad, mashed potatoes and gravy. His meal was great. Mine was okay. The cod was cooked nicely but the... More

45 years family owned. Family works in all aspects of the restaurant and those that are not family have remained for years. Food is delicious and there are many selections.

BESTEST EVER FRENCH DIP. No other french dip will ever compare. They have the best (may not sound appealing, didn't to me until I tried it) vegetable beef soup. Salads are great and their German sausage breakfast if to die for. The wait staff has worked there for years and are top notch. We come here from Washington.
