Good sized portions

Stopped in here after church with friends. Most of the tables were empty and maybe we just missed a rush because they were also dirty. They did not have enough items to make our entire order and we had to reorder some items. Portions were good sized and three food was worth going back for.

If you have food allergies, they don't have gf options. If you're a foodie the food isn't fantastic either! Waitress wasn't very nice. I have gluten intolerance and the waitress didn't take it seriously when i asked for gluten free pancakes. She answered "We're old school. We don't have that fancy options". She offered a gluten free toast and I... More

I have to be honest up front, I have only tried the Powderhorn's chicken fried steak and haven't been able to move into other parts of the menu. The steak is really tender. The breeding is light and seasoned just right. The staff is really great. They have obviously been working there a long time and seem to really enjoy... More

I have been visiting the Powderhorn since the mid 1980's. It has never let me down. Breakfasts are big. Really big. Really delicious and cooked to order. I have actually taken cinnamon rolls home to Toronto. Yes, they re that good. Their pies are a must. It doesn't matter which one you order. It will be outstanding. They also make... More

I was born and raised in Grants Pass and powderhorn has always been a favorite of mine. Despite living in Medford now, I will go out of my way for the occasional treat at powderhorn. Best pie and grilled cheese. Hands down.

Had pie ala mode for an afternoon treat--almost could not finish. Saw some breakfasts being served and they looked ginormous--might have t go back and try one.

We were visiting family in Grants Pass and they treated us to a wonderful breakfast at the Powderhorn. The menu was full of choices. The atmosphere had rustic charm. The service was exceptional and the food was superior. Highly recommend!

The plates are huge. I had the pancake, bacon and egg plate, a lot of food. Coffee very good. Busy Saturday morning, so not as quick on coffee refills, but nothing I wouldn't expect from any busy breakfast restaurant. Pies looked great and I will definitely come back to try a slice, or two. Friend had the "haystack" breakfast potatoes... More

Unless you are a regular here, they ignore you. It took a long time for us to even be acknowledged. We almost left because we felt like we had the plague or something. It was noisy and not enjoyable in that respect. Food was pretty good when it finally arrived, but don't think we would go back.
