The Taprock is a very interesting building with excellent atmosphere and a great view of the Rogue River. The service is usually slow, but good. The wait staff has always been very friendly and accomodating. The food, however, is mediocre at best. I have eaten there no less than four times and have always been disappointed with the bland tasting... More

I really like Taprock...for the view from the deck and for the food. I especially like their Sunday brunches. Lots of variety. Absolutely yummmy!!!

The only good thing about this restaurant is the view. My wife and I have been there a few times. Two times they have added more to the tip than we paid. The first time I went in to tell the manager so he could take care of this issue. He did not seem to care. The second time we... More

Wonderful ambience; comfy bar; excellent bartender service; great drinks (especially their bloody mary and draft beers); and nice views right over the river. This is a very inviting place to relax and meet friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks here and will return.

We live in the area so we try and visit at least once during the summer. We love the outdoor porch over looking the Rogue River. We had breakfast this visit and both meals where excellent. I ordered the egg white omelet stuffed with organic spinach, cheese and a tomato salsa served with either hash browns or fruit and toast. My... More

At a table of six, we ordered Ribeye, Salmon, Turkey and Chicken. Sadly, we were all disappointed. I have had better Ribeye at small-town, local taverns for less than half the price. On the upside, the chocolate chip cookie skillet desert was excellent. The servers were also helpful and friendly. Be sure to ask for a river view table if... More

When we have out of town guests who appreciate our region we go to Taprock for the wonderful ambiance--indoors and out. It's interesting watching the ducks and geese at Riverside Park, just across the river. Seasonally, the jet boats provide interest. The food is reasonably priced and good, also with a Northwestern theme. Happily there are healthy selections as well.

What a great place for a good value and beautiful view to have a midday meal. I would definitely recommend it. Sunday brunches are good too!

There is nothing better than dining on the deck in the summer … great food … fun to watch the activity on the water from the boats to the ducks, geese, the flow of the river. Good food … fabulous service … very relaxing.

This place didn't have a wait at 5pm on a Saturday. We sat out back on the patio and it took almost 15 minutes a server to come by. It's clearly because they're understaffed and they should fix that pronto, the other reviews make that obvious. The food is good and there are a lot of drink choices. The crab... More
