Day trip and lunch

View would have been better if there would have been a window seat available, salad was great, clam chowder was just average and my husband's steak sandwich was not good as it only had three small pieces of steak on it.

If you want to eat at a nice place with a real Northwest feel then this will do it. The food is good but not quite remarkable but the atmosphere and decor make up for it. I do love the breakfasts here and Sunday brunch - buffet is probably the best in town. They have a beautiful deck overlooking the... More

We drive through Grants Pass twice a year, and have never stopped for anything but gasoline and a walk with the dog. This year we wanted a place to watch one of the NFL playoff games, and luckily chose Taprock off the web. What a great venue! Nice-looking, open, friendly atmosphere, good food.and excellent beer. The Ashland Amber ale was... More

Was here with family from out of town, have been several times before as well. It's pretty much Elmers food but a pretty atmosphere. Definitely better food at other places, plus it's overpriced. It's a nice place to have a beer and look out at the river.

The food was a little overpriced for what you actually get, quality wise. Overall it was a warm and welcoming experience, the Servers were great, very friendly, but it was not enough to make up for the overwhelming smell of old beer spilled, inside, i know its a brewery but i recommend sitting outside if you want a better experience.... Nice friendly place for cocktails with a great view of the river. The bartenders, Perry and Kim, were very friendly (and Kim said to report that she's very good looking, too), the drinks and appetizers are well prepared, and room has nice forest decor.

Had lunch here with my sisters. We ate outdoors on the deck - enjoyed the beautiful river view. Our food was delicious - I had a great bbq chicken salad.

We ordered the oysters and hamburgers. Both were over cooked and dry. Mine was a cheese burger and I think the cheese was there- just so over cooked that it disappeared into the bun or patty. They offered bottomless fries/chip and I know why, no one wants them a second time. The fries were limp (under cooked?), the chips were... More
