Never Again Went there the weekend after Labor Day. No crowds. A lot of elderly people sitting in booths looking bewildered. The waitress says seat yourself and points to a booth. We sit. No forks, knives, spoons or napkins. Tosses 2 menus on the table and walks away. Look at the average items on the menu with above average prices.... More

We stopped in for lunch one day and the food was very good. The BLT was a good sized sandwich and so were the chicken strips ... and they were reasonably priced.

Get the pastries and pancakes-huckleberry of course. Neat architecture and healthy size servings. A nice mountain style pancake experience and very easy access in Government camp.

This place specializes in omelettes. I love them, but am on a low-cholesterol diet. Imagine my surprise, then, when they refused to make me an egg-white omelette. I've ordered omelettes all across the country, and this is the first time that's ever happened.

Very friendly folks, large portions, very average food . Good with children of all ages. Great milkshakes. Mountain rustic ambiance.

Only restaurant in the area to be open 24 hrs. We went for breakfast and ordered packed sandwiches. Coffee was ordinary but omelets were excellent with plenty of sprouts. The bread used for toast and packed sandwiches was very fresh multigrain whole wheat and were probably from a local bakery. Sandwiches were great for long hikes and were provided with... More

Stopped by on our way down the mountain for some huckleberry shakes. The decor is rustic-mountain-diner with booths and a counter with bar stools. The service was good, the food was good and the Huckleberry Milkshakes were very good - a lot of huckleberry's in the shake.

The service was good but the food was just OK. I can't wait for breakfast to see how the HUGE donuts taste. Club sandwich was supposed to have cheese and never showed up. Spaghetti was just OK.

We stopped in for lunch. I had prime rib sandwich with split pea soup. It was excellent. My hubby had breakfast and he said it was really good. We would definitely stop in here again.
