Good Little Local Diner

We had the royal treatment here when a large group of photographers descended on Gold's Beach. They closed just to host us for lunch one day. Even with 35+ diners arriving at once they were relatively quick, the food was good and the staff friendly.

After finding a disappointed breakfast at our hotel we went to Double D's for breakfast. The customer service was top notch! The food was great too. Large portions for a good price. They made it so that we will not remember Gold Beach as a completely bad experience!

Stopped for breakfast. Typical menu, nothing interesting like Eggs Benedict or Scrambles. My bacon was undercooked. The eggs and potatoes were fine. The food took a little longer than I would have expected given the number of people there at the time.

We ate breakfast there 4 times, all different items. Very plentiful, and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. Staff was superb.

This is just a little spot but the food was good and the staff was very friendly. The lady went out of her way to say happy valentine's day to everyone. Very nice.

We ate here 2-3 times during a brief vacation in Gold Beach. That was two years ago. How things have changed! The waitress (owner?) was only mildly friendly and the food unappetizing. I had a bowl of lukewarm chili that was runny and lacked flavor; my wife had soup and sandwich which was just okay. This is a local spot,... More

Toward the rear of rear of a strip mall on Hwy 101. Place is dated and very much a rural diner . Clean and well maintained. Breakfast dishes are hearty with lumberjack size portions. No health food here. Very tasty and satisfying. Service is attentive and cheerful. Prices are very reasonable.

The chicken strip meal will fill you up twice. The breakfasts and lunches I've had there all tasted great. I did find the breakfast prices to be a bit high, but that may be everywhere in Gold Beach....
