Peter, the owner, is super friendly. Food was Excellent. Atmosphere was Excellent. Wine was Excellent. Prices were great considering the quality of food. He could Definitely charge more but tries to keep it as low priced as possible! Don't eat anywhere else if you are in Gold Beach! Anna's is the best!!!!

An oasis in a modest working class town. Very small and all dishes cooked to order. Quite limited menu and expensive especially for area. Still quite casual with a very eccentric owner chief who doesn't mind sharing his opinions!!

We took our friends visiting from Nebraska out and we thoroughly enjoyed Anna's. We each had a different dish and shared bites - from the excellent appetizer through the entrees - well done! It was great to talk with Peter when time allowed - an asset to a small town on the coast! Thanks, we'll be back.

This was an experience like no other. Anna's is an intimate (5 table) bistro with the freshest, most flavorful dishes. The menu is small and is customized to what's available, so be flexible. The herbs are grown on site and chef Peter crafts his own cheeses. We sat at the counter, so we had the added treat of watching Peter... More

Put this on the top of your culinary priority lists. Make a reservation, sit down and enjoy. The four of us each chose something different and tried each other's dish. We couldn't decide which was the best as they all were. We have told many of our fellow travelers to seek this wonderful little place out - to those of... More

Not on the main drag, off the path a block or two, not open 7 days, but when you find the place, it is worth the trouble, and the wait, limited menu, but worth the trip. sit down, enjoy, very good, well prepared, fresh ingredients, have returned several times, when in the area. worth the trip. Farm fresh, well prepared,... More

We (my wife, adult daughter and I) are vacationing in Gold Beach and have dined twice at Anna's -- an absolutely delightful experience if you're one who cares more about the quality of the food than elaborate surroundings. On the first experience my wife had filet mignon, my daughter had veal medallions with mushroom sauce, and I had duck breast.... More

For some time now worsening cancer issues have prevented me from spending an evening enjoying the truly fabulous fare of Anna's, but when I heard about-- and then read-- the tantrum-like rant of MWisnovsky, who attacked the restaurant without ever having dined there!-- I felt overwhelmingly compelled to suggest that this individual get a grip. And some therapy. Aside from... More

Tucked away on a side street – the kind of place only the locals know – is tiny 5 table Anna’s bistro. Featuring a half dozen rotating list of mains like duck, rabbit and black cod, they are ample and delicious, but where I think owner/chef Peter Dower really shines is everything else. His ‘special’ salad is amazing, enhanced with... More

A small restaurant with gourmet dishes. We discovered the restaurant by reading trip advisor reviews. We have been on a road trip and to find this type of quality food is unusual. The potatoes baked in small iron skillets was very good as well as the sugar snap pea salad. You will not be disappointed with anything on the menu.... More
