I have been by this place many times while traveling and I decided to try it after a recomendation. I was glad I tried it out. The place was empty but it was the off season so that didn't suprise me. They have several big booth that could fit 8 people so it felt odd to sit in them. The... more

We loved this place. Had to go back a 2nd time the next day for lunch just to see if it was as good as their breakfast. The place is clean, portions huge and very warm and friendly. The parent's do the cooking and the 2 daughters are the very easy to get along with waitresses. We went for Saturday... more

Recently had lunch there on a day trip along Hwy 101. The view of the bay is terrific, and the main reason you'd want to go. All tables seem to have a nice view. For as sparsely crowded as it was we thought the service was a little slow and our server seemed a little worn out or something. The... more

Our hotel in Tilamook suggested Pirate Cove when I asked for a good seafood dinner. We were there on March 23, a quiet Monday evening. After talking to our waitress about some selections, my wife had seafood fettuccini(sp), I had fresh sturgeon(honey bbq). My wifes fettuccini was piled high with some very tasty seafood, shrimp&prawns, scallops, crab, salmon and halibut,... more

Stopped in for lunch and ordered halibut. I received fish sticks and a few french fries. The fish sticks were undercooked and fries were cold. Since this is a restaurant on the bay, for the price I paid for lunch I expected fresh halibut , hot fries. I will never go their again even though I will be spending the... more

As locals we've enjoyed our experience at this restaurant many times, but they've really gone downhill in the last couple of months. Yes, the reataurant itself is dingy, but the view makes up for that. However, the view cannot make up for poor service and over-priced, tasteless food. Our waitress (the owner's daughter) was very slow, leaving several customers waiting... more

Although I wasn’t impressed with the value of the dinner menu, this restaurant ranks high for the incredible views of the bay. Even on a Monday night, the place was full of tourists and locals. The dinner menu is pricey, my blackened salmon wasn’t fresh enough for the $26 price tag, but the seasoning and accompanying cream cheese mashed potatoes... more

We heard this place has a great view, so we decided to go here for lunch. Although it took a bit to be seated, our waiter was very nice and the food was delicious. We ordered fried shrimp and a cheesesteak sandwich with clam chowder and only paid $20!!! Go for the great food and the spectacular view! :) more

I'm surprised by the poor reviews this place has gotten here...we went for lunch and loved it so much we went back the next day. The clam chowder was good but the standout was the fried oyster sandwich which together cost about $10. I've heard it's considerably more expensive at dinner and may not be a good bargain then, but... more
