Being from out of town, I am not sure what a typical day looks like but we were there on a busy Saturday morning. The servers, only two for the whole place, were over whelmed. We waited 10 minutes to order and food sat in the window for an unacceptable amount of time while they tried to serve the entire... More

Our family and their friends eat at this restaurant weekly and took us to eat here. The food and service was good. This is a big locals spot to eat breakfast.

Nestled at the edge of Honeyman State Park on Highway 101 outside Florence, OR, Morgan's Country Kitchen lives up to its name. Hearty traditional breakfasts of sausage, bacon or ham with eggs that feature a choice of biscuits and gravy along with hash browns or home fries are staple menu favorites. Owners Gary and Sheila Morgan add a bit of... More

Amazing! The food was wonderful, the prices great for the huge portion sizes, and they kept our coffee filled and hot! Wow I was impressed! I will definitely be back!

Been living in Florence for 14 years and if we want a hearty breakfast on a Sunday morning we head to Morgan's. They have wonderful biscuits with country gravy and a choice of all traditional things. The only drawback is that their coffee sucks which is strange in a state that loves coffee.

Was very pleased by the prompt service, and the food was very good. Not a fancy place, just what the name suggests. The only downside was when we paid and left, the server was done- no goodbye, no come and see us again...she took our money, rang it up, and turned around. We said goodbye, with no response. I was... One of the best breakfasts on the road that we've ever had. Huge, too. Better be hungry. Even the kid's breakfast is big! Impeccable friendly service. A down home place, no frills, but an absolutely great one.

We stopped here on a Friday, about 1:15 p.m. -- three quarters of an hour before their posted closing time. There were two customers here when we arrived and the lights turned down. We all ordered a lunch, one bison burger, a pulled pork platter and a meatloaf platter. I was surprised by the Jalapeño in the baked beans, but... More

I love the country kitchen......every aspect of this cozy and comfortable cottage-style restaurant makes you feel good. As you're seated, you are served the beverage of your choice - mine being coffee from freshly ground beans. All of the ingredients are of excellent quality and local when available. The Country Kitchen is environmentally conscientious through their green practices. The bran... More

This restaurant is made from a converted house and is right on Highway 101 just South of Florence. The place has a warm and cozy feel and would be what you expect to have seen traveling the Oregon coast 50 years ago. The owner takes pride in quality food making it a favorite with locals for breakfast.
