Walked in on spec, good find, good food

My wife and I were driving south on 101, we had not had breakfast, and by lunchtime we were hungry, and just pulled up in the parking lot and took a punt on this place. Interior is basic, almost like eating in someone's kitchen. There were about six local people all sharing a table and chatting... read more

This is a quaint little place on the 101 highway just inside Florence City Limits. If you aren't paying attention, you might miss it - and if you miss it you will miss OUTSTANDING food. Portions are huge - price is not. Wonderful fresh bread daily. They are only open a few hours each day (breakfast/lunch) - make sure you... More

Happy birthday me.. We decided to go to the best breakfast joint in Florence while my friends are in town from Seattle. I am local and had been there before for good food and ok service. The 30 minute or more wait, and incredibly expensive food had always been worth it. Well color me embarrassed when we were treated like... More

Eight of us ate breakfast here recently. The service was good and the food was delicious. We look forward to trying it again. The baked goods are homemade, and my blueberry muffin was the best I have had!

36th and I-101, open 6am to 3 pm ONLY. Parking lot is on north side of building. Ramp for disabled. CUTE little place. World's friendliest waitress (seriously, she was dang near giddy). Medium sized menu, almost all breakfast and some lunch. Homemade bread, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc. Funky ice cubes. We're there Thursday at 1pm, so not crowded but had... More

We hadn't been here since the original owners passed and with our tummies growling for breakfast we headed here after an early doctor appointment. The atmosphere is like coming into a neighbor's for a cup of coffee and something good to eat. The clean tables are set with utensils and funky, all different coffee mugs. There is always a daily... I was recently in Florence for an early meeting. Looked online and couldn't find a restaurant open before 7:00 AM, too late to eat and make my appointment. I drove by this restaurant, and noticing that it opened at 6:00, decided to give it a try. Great choice on my part! The food was excellent and the staff were very... More

6 of us came in for breakfast. The place smell of fresh backed bread. The food and the service was great. Would be a regular if I lived here.

Were just looking for a little homestyle restaurant for breakfast while leaving Florence this morning. We were greeted with big smiles and friendliness. The smell of fresh bread baking was sumptuous! I haven't had homemade toasted bread in years. Husband had cinnamon french toast with heated, yes I said heated maple syrup. They even offered coffee to go. Great conversation... More

Absolutely delicious food. Homemade bread (try the pumpernickel) and pies are out of this world. Their homemade marionberry/raspberry is a must too. We had to order some of their homemade bread to take home. Everything is prepared without preservatives. Orders are large and prices are small.
