6 of us came in for breakfast. The place smell of fresh backed bread. The food and the service was great. Would be a regular if I lived here.

Were just looking for a little homestyle restaurant for breakfast while leaving Florence this morning. We were greeted with big smiles and friendliness. The smell of fresh bread baking was sumptuous! I haven't had homemade toasted bread in years. Husband had cinnamon french toast with heated, yes I said heated maple syrup. They even offered coffee to go. Great conversation... More

Absolutely delicious food. Homemade bread (try the pumpernickel) and pies are out of this world. Their homemade marionberry/raspberry is a must too. We had to order some of their homemade bread to take home. Everything is prepared without preservatives. Orders are large and prices are small.

Stopped in again after finding this place several years ago. It is not your run of the mill chain restaurant. We had breakfast there 2 mornings with everything being very good.Portions are large. The specials vary and have an interesting local flair. Carol, our server, had some great recommendations. It is a place we'll return to.

We were looking for a late Sunday brunch and noticed that this restaurant, quite close to where we were staying, was opened for breakfast and lunch so we chanced it. Home cooked food doesn't begin to describe it! My husband opted for the stuffed hash browns (stuffed with onions, cheddar cheese, and his choice of bacon and served with eggs... More

The breads are freshly baked; the servings are substantial. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and warm. Only open for breakfast and lunch - Don't Miss This One!

The first time I visited it was good food, friendly service and ok, not great but ok. This time on the other hand I will never go back. While the service was still great. There were MAJOR flaws. 1-the coffee mug at my spot was filthy, not just dusty, downright dirty. 2-during my meal I had 3 ants crawl on... More

We stopped here for a recent late breakfast. There were a few customers in the resto, but getting seated and then having someone take our order, and then having someone cook our order all took an inordinate amount of time. I had a chicken fried steak, the old style: real meat, in a hand breaded portion -- but so much... More

Now I have to go back to try their pie. Breads and pies are their claim to fame and the pumpernickel toast that came with me omelet was really great and homemade. Sadly, the omelet was really not as good as my own home breakfast and the hash browns were just there, I really couldn’t find a way to eat... More

Although it looks a little small and old from the outside, the food is GREAT. Be prepared for the best bread you've ever eaten and you can buy it fresh if you order the day before.
