My Girlfriend and I had been anxious to try Lovejoy's based on Trip Advisor reviews. Being From England, my Girlfriend was excited and truly looking forward to it. First of all finding them open is a challenge. We tried repeatedly with no luck. One day we were passing by and they were open. We screeched to a stop and rushed... More

On a trip with a friend to the Oregon coast, my friend suggested Florence. I had not been to any of the places along the Oregon coast so I was just along for the ride. As we came around a corner to stop and visit old town, I saw a British flag. We popped in to this totally delightful step... More

We stopped at Lovejoy's for lunch while visiting Florence and what a delight it was. My husband was thrilled when he saw the sign in the window that said they had Cornish pastys as he loves them. Unfortunately they didn't have them the week we were there. But the cottage pie was a good substitute! I had a sweet chili... More

The outside looks a bit plain, but inside is warmly cosy. Pretty floral tablecloths, fresh flowers and delicate China make the interior feel really special. We had the Royal Tea ($28 for two). I thought the salmon bisque (+$2) was amazing with deep flavors and lots of salmon bits. The sandwich assortment was quite good, while the cream scone was... More

My husband (a brit) and I had tried on several occasions to try out the tea house, finding it shut. However on this occasion we managed to squeeze in between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Their only hours of business. We sat down and were charmed by Liam who has the gift of the gab. We were salivating in anticipation.... More

This is a small beautifully appointed cafe run by an English owner and her husband. We went there for lunch and I tried a bowl of clam chowder that was excellent. My wife had a cup of salmon bisque and quiche that were also excellent. We also enjoyed a pot of Scottish breakfast tea. The other couples who lunched with... More

Go here for a great lunch. The food was excelant and full brit style. Cosy atmosphere and Judith, the owner is a good host, very funny to talk to. The quiche was verry large. Dont miss the Rubard Crumble with icecream, its to die for.

We stay in Florence each summer for at least 12 weeks, and we average eating at Lovejoy's at least once a week! (New items are added weekly) Never have we tasted better soups, sauces, or salads! Judith and Liam have made this delightful space an oasis for travelers and townies. We take all our guests here, and they love it... More

We had a wonderful lunch at this Florence, OR tea house restaurant. We were on our way to Canada from CA and stopped here with our MG car club group. I had a fresh crab croissant with some delicious homemade Salmon Bisque soup. The staff were wonderful and the service was great. I would highly recommend this nice little restaurant.
