The fish are so freach you can smell the sea

The fish is so fresh you can smell the sea! So why would you not have a fish taco or any other of their fish items. We always take home the daily catch for dinner !

Stopped by for dinner based on reviews (although I think TripAdvisor has some reviews for this place under a different name). There really isn't any inside seating so you do sit outside with the flies. Had Cod with fries and Halibut with cole slaw. The Cod was terrific and a great deal. The halibut was good, but at nearly 2x... More

A favorite stop on my way home from work. I especially like the grilled trout or salmon which is served at the Coburg Road location. Way better than the heavily-coated deep-fried fish.

Two visits two bouts of diarrhea. I won't be going back! Fish & chips to greasy. The coconut prawns are good, fries are soft, soggy and greasy. Changing the oil once and awhile would probably help.

Fred & I went last week end. I had yummy blackened halibut, excellent French fries and coleslaw, Many places have fries that are coated with wheat so I can't eat them.. Newman's has fries without wheat so I can have them. Fred had a delicious salmon sandwich. He loved it

I have had the best consistency in terms of quality and selection of seafood at Newman's. I would highly recommend getting an order of their halibut fish and chips for lunch.

When you want fresh seafood in Eugene, you go to Newman's. They have a large selection. Indoor and outdoor seating for eating on site. We mostly order either the Fresh Chinook Salmon to take home or salmon and slaw to eat on site or take home. Good value and quick service.

But my favorite is shrimp and chips. There take out stays dry as they package the chips and the fish or shrimp seperately.Tarter sauce is good. Service is very good and very clean.

You should go here for two reasons. Great fish and chips at a reasonable price. The fries are OK. But the fish is so fresh and tasty. The second reason is if you want fish to cook at home. Their seafood selection is excellent. Very diverse choices, fresh and great knowledge from all the staff.

The restaurant is actually a window attached to the fishmarket. They have a nice selection of fish and oysters ( lightly breaded and deep-fried after you order) with very good vinegar slaw on the side. The shrimp Louie salad looked good, too. This is not a restaurant; it is a walk up, order and eat there in an outdoor space... More
