Great Atmosphere, Very Good Food,Excellent Service ,Overpriced

The title says it all. The halibut fish & chips are GREAT, but at $20, for fish & chips???? The hamburger was great as well, at $11 Bucks...but it did come with fries. The atmosphere is incredible. The staff and service is Great. The prices for the Lunch Menu are very overpriced for what you... read more

Done with work, so needed a burger and a cold one. Tough spot to find but worth it. JP was great and attentive. Had the Elk Burger (med rare, two napkins) perfect, and the tomato orange soup (Tangy, full of flavor) Plus a Hammerhead or two... Need to go back in the spring/summer and sit outside next to the river.... More

We went after 8 pm on a Tues night, and there were only a few other tables occupied when we arrived. It felt like we were the last patrons when we departed after 9:30. I highly recommend that you check out their menu BEFORE you go. It is not inexpensive and may not appeal to everyone. However, we had the... More

This is the second time going to this restaurant. I was very disappointed the first time. I only went back because a friend wanted to go there. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was fabulous. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and important. The food and cocktails were also very good. I would definitely go... More

Well prepared. Server was very helpful and timely. Loved the steelhead! Very quiet on a Tuesday in February. On a nice day you can sit on the patio with a view of the river. Double check your directions or call for directions, Google maps and Siri can run you around a little.

We have been here 4 times in the last 2 months... It's nice and tends to be quiet (the times we visited). We love the food. The only con I can say is their kids menu needs to be a tad revamped... Other than that we had a good time and the service is usually great. I really need to... More

I think the 60s Tiki theme is fun and would go back when the weather allows for outside near the river, but it seems to me the portions are small and the price not so small. Happy hour is a good value , as always. We missed that and when we got our chicken appetizer and Cajun tots seemed like... More

We liked the fact that the restaurant was across the street from our hotel. Granted it was Christmas Eve, but the place was not bustling with activity. We were a party of 14 but was told we couldn't be accommodated because of the size of our party. So we asked, if we split up into a party of two --would... More

Hotel staff recommended this spot as a great restaurant and a nice walk from the Hotel. They were right on both counts, nice walk even in the dark and the Restaurant/pub is fantastic. Had a very good waiter, fish and chips were great. Decor and value right up there. The setting on the river bank is very nice.

We are long time McMenamin's customers...but have fallen off over the last few years as we found the menus to be slowly changing and ...well... it got boring. We tried this place due to good Tripadvisor reviews and were not dissappointed. Interesting tasty food and a menu we only recognized a few things from. Nice table by the river was... More
