McMenamin's has a reputation for unique buildings and atmosphere. While there isn't anything unique about this building, the location is what makes it special. Eat outside along the river if you can. It is worth the wait. We were there on a Friday night. It was busy and we waited about 25 minutes and glad we did. The setting was... More

Just a short stroll along the lovely Willamette River from the LaQuinta Hotel at Eugene to McMenamin's for a late supper. Meals are always fresh and tasty and we particular love their craft beers. Try the fish and chips. Waitstaff are always excellent.

Our party came to have a farewell party for a work colleague who is moving to England. I called North Bank the night before asking to reserve an outside table for 10. I was informed that North Bank does not make reservations for outside tables. So instead, I sent 2 employees of my company to North Bank at 4pm on... More

Gosh, you can't beat the riverside dining!!! So beautiful! We always stop for dinner, noticed they changed the menu recently. Our burgers were great. Must mention though the lighting inside is awful if you are of a certain age and just started reluctantly using reading glasses BRING a flashlight too the dim yellow lighting is very dated and you can't... We've come here several times in the past. They always had a homerun with the fish and chips. Unfortunately, a couple of months ago, they did a menu update and removed this. Bummer. I had the Cuban pickle crisis sandwich as a rebound meal. It was fine. No complaints, but once was enough. I hope they decide to bring back... More

Stumbled upon this place as I was exploring Alton Baker park and was very pleased with my discovery. Beautiful location with outdoor dining looking out at the river/park. You couldn't want for a better setting. The beers I sampled were very good, the service was good and the menu had much to offer. Everything was perfect except for a misfire... More

We stayed one night at La Quinta near the restaurant and ate dinner here. Some of the previous reviews made me concerned but I decided to try it anyway. We had a great time. The menu was more limited than what we had at other McMenamin's, but the food was nevertheless excellent. Beer was also great. Service was excellent as... More

Two hour wait to eat outside. Waited for our server to come back to take our drink order before happy hour was over and she did not even though we asked her to then told us it was to late. Apps were good, pasta had no sauce at all and all noodles were in one large clump. I would not... More

Was in Eug/Spfld for five days and ate here twice. One lunch (Thai Dragon Chicken sandwich) and one dinner (Ahi Tuna). Both were outstanding and let's not forget about the cajun tots. I love all the options this place offers and the location is simply beautiful. When I am in town, this will definitely be a place I return to.

Well, this was our first trip in Eugene, Oregon and the hotel recommended McMenamins North Bank for dinner. We were traveling with our pet and therefore got the food to go. Nice interior to the restaurant, not too crowded. The patio overlooks the Williamette River and was crowded. Ordered a "market green" salad and burger to go. I was told... More
