This place has the potential to be great but missed the opportunity. Great location, right on the river, plenty of parking and a super cool building. For a microbrew kind of place, the beer was mediocre at best. For the love of god and beer, stop smoking weed and then deciding in that hazy moment of Zin - that somehow... More

There is something seriously wrong with McMenamin's. Six of us did a 9 day motorcycle trip from British Columbia through Oregon last week staying in 7 different towns & eating in local restaurants & without a doubt McMenamin's was the worst by far. Coming from BC which has lots of good microbreweries we were keen on trying the many microbrews... More

This place is actually locally famous for it's bad service and they always live up to this reputation. The food is great and the view is amazing, but it is the only McMenamins that I have been to with really apathetic servers.

They used to have great cheeseburgers and the best homemade fries in town. Not any more. Dickie Jo's is #1. It's a shame being on the river and all.

This McMenamin's isn't really in one of their usual historic locations, but the riverside location has been a restaurant for years and it's a nice location (especially if you happen to get sun in Oregon :). The service has always been quite slow even when there seems to be plenty of waitstaff and not many tables filled. Even with a... More

The river bank location with outdoor seating is the main attraction, but then the weather has to be perfect. Is this a restaurant trying to be a pub or pub trying to be a restaurant? - its a little confusing. Either way the beers a good - especially at happy hour price. As a sit indoors restaurant there are probably... More

I have yet to have a bad experience at a McMenamin's. We walked to North Bank from our hotel (La Quinta) for lunch. Like the other locations the decor is cool and this one has the advantage of being right on the river so the view is spectacular. The food was delicious. The kid's menu has great options and even... Stunning location, beautiful outdoor dining area overlooking the river. The inside is warmly appropriated with beautiful woodwork and cosy wood fires cheer the place. I have visited many of McMenamin's pubs, and I am familiar with their menu and beers. I was here with a group of professionals, and we were all disappointed with the service (not by our waitress... My daughter and I did a whirlwind trip through Oregon looking at colleges this week. Our meal and McMenamins was by far the best. My daughter is a vegetarian and had the pasta with artichoke hearts/walnuts/sun dried tomatoes/red sauce/ and fresh parmesan. I ordered the salmon special which was salmon with a cajun rub and a few grilled leeks on... More

Excellent river setting but would only go when I could eat outside to enjoy view. Menu variable - on last visit food had been not well prepared - perhaps worst meal I can recall.
