Beautiful Setting, Good Food

Six of us, friends and family, were seated outside, surrounded by flowers and good aromas. Menu is Mediterranean. Lamb is a speciality. The lamb chops were said to be excellent, though another lamb dish, with rice and seasonings, was tough. Prawns were a favorite choice. Dessert was special, a... read more

Mediterranean food cooked to perfection. Lamb dishes all excellent. Asparagus stuffed ravioli delightful. Calimari the best ever. Specialty drinks and Spanish coffee to die for. Fresh peaches. Flambé super. A must on a stay in Eugene.

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend and her family and loved everything. Service was attentive without being over the top. Food was exceptional! Steak Diane and the salmon du jour were outstanding though the sauce on the steak was just a tad salty. Wine selection was very good and very reasonably priced. We had the creme brulee and the... I've heard talks about Café Soriah for quite some time now. We finally made it here for dinner about 2 weeks ago. Generally when you hear "Café Soriah" you also hear about the "Steak Diane". This was the reason I wanted to come here. We made reservations for 8:30 and had a nice corner table for 2. The place is... More

Coming from out of town to meet family I got to the restaurant early and decided to have a drink at the bar. Rude bartender, took 15 minutes to order a drink in an empty restaurant. ( 3 tables seated). Went downhill from there. Changes were made on the menu items without telling us. The service was terrible through out... More

This is a wonderful place for dinner, especially if the outdoor patio is open. The calamari is a must have, so garlicy and crispy. They change up the menu to maximize seasonal ingredients so that is always fun. I have been many times, both for work and with friends, and consistently the service is slow. I can never figure out... Reserved this place because of TA reviews, although it is a little ways out of the centre of town, we had incredible food here. I ooted for the lamb curry, and I have never tasted better, hubby had chicken tagine which wasnt what he was expecting in terms of the usual spices, but he enjoyed it. I had the creme... More

Top of the notch class is what this restaurant is! The owner, Ib visits all the tables, makes sure everyone is pleased with their order, chats with everyone and makes the best table side peach jubilee, tasty and impressive. Service was impeccable, wine and mixed drinks terrific. The appetizers, shrimp, chicken Casablanca, lamb, fresh trout, salmon, bouillabaisse were all perfectly... More

My husband and I and another couple opted for dinner at café Soriah and we all agreed it was our best meal ever in Eugene after 9 years of enduring too many over priced mediocre meals in this town. We were warmly greeted by the hostess/bar tender and given a comfortable table in front of Ib's cooking table. My cocktail... More

Cafe Soriah is Eugene's hidden little gem. Well know to locals and not commercialized. We like it that way. Ib always has an amazing menu and customer service second to none. If you are looking for the best meal in Eugene this is the place to go. Our 9.5 month baby was accepted and welcomed. Ib strongly believes in family.... More
