Cafe Soriah has been named Eugene's most romantic dining spot for years. Small place with outdoor seating during the summer. Linens. Great service. Everything I've ever tasted here has been delicious - especially the Steak Diane - melts in the mouth. They have wonderful wine pairings and a great bar too. My husband & I go for our anniversaries, Valentines... More

We went to this poor excuse for a restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews. We are rarely disappointed by TA review advice, but in this case the reviewers must have all been drunk, blind and starving. The Hostess was ignorant of the specials, soup of the day, would not let us choose seating on a VERY hot day and generally... More

If it's like this every night, why search for any other special occasion spot to eat. The lovely, intimate patio with small twinkling lights and a nice sound of water falls was perfect for 3 of us to leasiurely enjoy a great meal. Service was perfect, with both wait epople and the charming owner serving us. Our salads were prompt... More

There is something very special about dining outside on the intimate patio at Cafe Soriah. As Chef Ibrahim prepares his specialties the amazing aromas fill the space. We had a goat cheese salad followed by a tender and delicious Steak Diane in burgundy sauce and tasty halibut. It's an unpretentious, friendly restaurant that is a wonderful choice for a special... My wife and I had a most enjoyable evening here. We started by sharing a Baby Trio - a really excellent dish that made us almost cancel our entree in favor of two more orders. I had one of the dishes from the specials menu, Curry Shrimp. and it was delicious. My wife had Lamb Mediterranean and found it most... More

I don't like to give negative reviews but I think when travelers like us need to find a restaurant on the road they deserve an unbiased opinion. The people in the restaurant are charming. We intended to go to newmans, what is it with a restaurant in college town that shuts at 7pm on a Friday night. So the cafe... More

This restaurant is small, maybe 12 tables, situated very close together. However, the food and the service are excellent. Four of us had dinner on a Sunday night. It wasn't very busy so it was quiet and relaxing. My husband had the Steak Diane. The filet mignon was the best I have ever tasted. I wished I had more than... More

We were at LAX waiting for our flight to Eugene, and browsed Tripadvisor for a new restaurant to try. We "found" two restaurants, including Cafe Soriah. We made a 6 pm reservation, which we thought was early, yet nearly every table was taken. The chef was cooking Steak Diane at tableside. The waiter suggested a calamari appetizer (which I don't...
