Amazing calamari and we don't even care for it!

Lovely place! We read about the calamari and the 4 in our party don't care for it so were going to steer clear! After chatting with one of the staff decided to try it since he swore it was the best in the world, he didn't lie, fantastic! Everything else was amazing too! Staff were great and... read more

Cafe Soriah is Eugene's hidden little gem. Well know to locals and not commercialized. We like it that way. Ib always has an amazing menu and customer service second to none. If you are looking for the best meal in Eugene this is the place to go. Our 9.5 month baby was accepted and welcomed. Ib strongly believes in family.... More

Started with the Calamari. EXCELLENT! Not on the menu so please ask. Ordered steak Diane which was done to perfection. Even the vegetables get rave reviews!!! Space is small but nice ambiance. Make reservations as it can get crowded. Service was excellent. This was definitely a treat. Clearly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had!

We have eaten here over several years and the food is excellent because the chef knows what he is doing. We have never been disappointed. It can be noisy, however, because it is in a converted house and the acoustics aren't the greatest for conversation. Cafe Soriah is very popular and usually crowded so reservations are recommended. We got in... More

Best food, best service, steak Diana redefined what could be done with steak in my eyes. Holy mole, everything was amazing.

I enjoyed my dinner at Cafe Soriah from start to finish. In fact, my face was tired from smiling by the time I got home that night. Although busy, seating was timely to my reservation. I loved meeting owner Ib and watching him cook my meal right there in the dining room. The waiter forgot to enter our appetizer order,... More

A great surprise, way above our expectations. Think of the entire Mediterranean . . . Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey . . . And you'll get the gist of the chefs inspirations. Fabulous starters with ground lamb roll up (Sambosik -- see below) and roasted beet salad. Even the humble hummus plate was distinguished with crisp pickled carrots and tasty olives.... More

The food is always wonderful at this restaurant. I usually get the special. They have fabulous soups and their middle eastern food is great. They will make your selection spicier if you ask. I wish the wait staff was a little more friendly and attentive. I overlook it because the food is so good. The owner Ib is so personable.... More

A little on the pricey side, however, you get what you pay for. Began with a small Ceasar salad. The home made bread is wonderful. I had Lamb Curry, my wife had Chicken Tangine. Each was served on a bed of rice with fresh vegetables. All of the flavors were absolutely great. Ended the meal with Banana's Foster. Our waiter,... More
