You feel like your in the French countryside while dining on the patio or inside the restaurant at King Estate. Great view from the hilltop and great wine, service and ambiance. Not what you might expect in rural Lane County

My husband and I headed out of Eugene to King Estste for a leisurely afternoon of wine and light lunch at King Estate. The wine was delicious, the views amazing and the food succulent. We'll be back in spring to enjoy the sun on the patio

You go to King Estate originally because it's a winery and it's known for its Pinot Gris. Once you're there, you discover the incredible view, the gorgeous dining room, and the fresh, well prepared food. The dining room features double-sided wood-burning fireplaces in winter and a spacious outdoor patio for summer. The concrete floors could make for a noisy atmosphere,... More

Probably the best meal we have had since we have moved to Oregon. First we went wine tasting, just a couple of tastes, we were saving our taste buds for a late lunch. My husband had beef bourgeon (more like a pot roast) with mushrooms and homemade pappardelle noodles, the sauce was wonderful. I had the crab stuffed tortolloni with... More

Traveling from Arcata, California, to Eugene, Oregon, we read about this winery and decided to stop. It's a little off the beaten path, but so worth it! My husband and I did a wine tasting and then ordered a glass of wine and charcuterie board to enjoy out on the patio. What a lovely evening!

Yes it's a bit out of town, pretty drive, but the lunch/brunch is wonderful, interesting and mostly local. And of course grab a flight to go with your food.
