Unique view and well prepared food and wine

stunning views from all sides this enormous winery offers seating both indoors and out for the sights delights of the beautiful Lorane Valley. Elegant and casual, you will certainly enjoy the best of both wine and food choices. Perfect for lunch and a leisurely tour of the winery.

We just wanted a nice place for a going away dinner for two of our adult children. There isn't really a dining area inside, just a bar with hundreds of people waiting for a table. 2 hour wait for a outdoor table so we took a indoor one after an hour. Dirty glassware, rude waiter, expensive food, too noisy to... More

We live in the nearby area and when we have visitors from out-of-state, we always take them to King Estate. We usually start at the tasting bar (which used to be free but now that the winery is more well-known and there are so many tasters, there is a nominal charge). The folks pouring know their stuff about the wine... More

We are very upset with the new Wine Club policy that we can not change out wines in the club shipments. When we are paying up to sixty dollars a bottle, we want the option of changing out a bottle of wine that we do not care for. We went again this last weekend to see if the policy had... More

I ate there and generally enjoyed myself. However, later I had some misgivings about their menu choices, wine club details, and attitude/tone at the tasting bar. Nothing too severe, but important enough that I wrote a letter. For a long time I tried to convince them to answer my comments. Their staff was nice and would at times say they... More

This place has it all. If out of staters come to visit, this is atop the list of places we take them. The food, the wine, the views, the architecture of the building and the ambience are first, first class. Well worth the money spent. Relax and enjoy!

First time I visited King Estate Winery it was by bicycle. That is how I thought you were supposed to visit a French styled winery in the Wine Country south of Bluegene. Bit of a sketchy ride along Territorial Road, virtually no shoulder has killed at least one or two. But the savvy cyclist gets there in fine shape. Well... More

We went to King Estate Winery for my birthday lunch recently, and were very well taken care of with an excellent, creative menu. We had heard there was a new chef, and were curious about any changes. We four shared a charcuterie plate with cheese and salami before lunch. I had crab cakes and a warm beet salad with honeycomb and... More

The food, the wine, the service, the view--we sat outside--everything at King Estate is first-class. The wait staff is well-trained, efficient, and treats all guests with a friendliness and respect. Our table of 5 included 2 foreigners whose understanding of the menu required some time to explain. The staff were patient, friendly, and interested in our guests' country of origin.... More

The views and ambiance, whether indoors or out, are spectacular. Plan to spend some time because it is a drive from anywhere, but well worth it. Food is locally sourced and prepared exquisitely.
