Beautiful Winery and Great Restaurant

My daughter/son-in-law hosted a graduation celebration for their son's graduation from the University of Oregon on June 15th. They reserved a private room for 17 of us. The service, food, wines and views were excellent.

The winery is beautiful, the view from the patio is breathtaking, the food was very good as well but the staff was a bit stuffy and left us with a less then welcome feeling. Sweet cheeks was much more enjoyable!

With a group of 19 friends for lunch and conversation. Most felt that the portions were small for the price. For example, I ordered the smoked chicken with ratatouille. The chicken portion did not have a smokey flavor and the size was about 2 by 3 inches. The amount of vegetables was no larger than a tablespoon. Iced tea glasses... More

We were here in May so be prepared for rain. Our group had a private tour which was too long for our group that included lots of young people in their 20's-great tour for people super interested in the process or the history of the winery- so check before signing up for any tour. Tasting was also private for our... More

What gorgeous views, flowers, grape vines, fields of lavender and so much more! Impeccable service, delicious platters of cheese and charcuterie, wonderful soups, fish and chips, salads, desserts and of course the wine! If one wants perfection and delight, this is the place to go to in Eugene! Amazingly beautiful and a must to go back to.

Spectacular setting, excellent service, great food, great wine. That's it. French onion soup to die for.

We had dinner outside on the patio and soaked up the wonderful views of the vineyard and valley below while enjoying a great dinner paired with their Freedom Pinot. My wife and I both had the Halibut which was prepared very nicely. The fish was moist and flakey - cooked just right! The kids had burgers. My son declared it... More

This is a very nice setting, but it is overpriced for what you get. Oregon is full of good quality vineyards that are producing good wines. Take the time to explore and do not be drawn to this place because they built a fancy building and raised the prices to give themselves this aura of exclusivity. Explore Oregon vineyards.

We visited King Estate Winery over the Memorial Day weekend. When we got there we noticed that the Tasting area was pretty crowded as we expected. We wandered around the Lobby for a few minutes and when an opening at the Tasting Bar opened we made our way there looking forward to trying their wines. It was apparent that the... More

This is one of the more beautiful properties we've ever visited for lunch. The wine was very good and the Charcuterie was great, but the burger was only barely eatable. I ordered a rare to medium rare and got a well done burger. Also, it had some kind of black Canadian-style awful tasting bacon that was impossible to remove without... More
