We visited on a weekday for a lunch. As anticipated, the beers we tasted were excellent. We shared a calamari appetizer that was 5 stars plus. Lightly battered, not rubbery, excellent seasoning and a nice dipping sauce. We each had the 3 fish taco lunch. Unfortunately, the description was better than the food. Under seasoned and bland fish. Not spicy,... More

Great Service, slightly above average food, fun atmosphere! Pick a window seat, it's entertaining just watching the people go by. I think Eugene is trying to keep pace with Portland when it comes to weird!

A very nice place to eat. Great beer. The chili dog was really good and matched well with the beer that they suggested. If you are looking for a nice atmosphere, outside dining, and easily reachable via walking from downtown; this is a great choice!

The seating can be very comfortable. It depends on if you get one of the rock hard wood seats, or one of the cushiony wing-back wonderful chairs. I took one of the soft chairs. I had the buffalo chicken and it was delicious. The beer selection is of good quality and good selection. The place is clean, but a little... More

I have been here several times and we started our evening here with a couple of beers, get the James Blonde, delicious. We also ordered the hummus plate with warm bread. Staff is always friendly and it is a fun atmosphere.

On a hot summer day we parked our bikes outside Steelhead Brewery and sank into high-backed upholstered chairs. Aah. A sampler of their beers brought more happiness (my fave: the orange wheat). The hot dog & sauerkraut was big and good, and the Chinese chicken salad was fresh and loaded with tasty things. Add a friendly waitress, and it was... More

First visit Dec. 23 2013 My wife and I stopped in to sample a beer on the way from central Oregon to the coast. Young pregnant bartender was great!Very friendly and outgoing, has a couple beers that were good and got a growler to go. We stopped by again 8/4/14 on the way to the coast again after having gone... This is a warm, friendly pub/brewery with good food and service, conveniently located. It is fresh and clean and the wine list is decent as well.

Arrived at end of a 2 day bike tour. Pleasant outside seating area, shaded. Service: 100%. Permitted us to "park" bikes in seating area. Attentive w/o being intrusive. Food: the halibut sandwich (not the "fish and chips") this is a winner. Not battered...grilled, not overdone....wow. The beer: we had the sampler "paddle." Good variety w/ some very light and refreshing... More

...which is not necessarily a bad thing. Inviting decor. The beer was ok -- not the best, but ok. The dinner menu had ups and downs. Great onion rings, so-so pizza. My friend loved his BLT. Problem is, this place is LOUD. It's not due to loud music or TVs turned up too high; there's just no sound proofing, so... More
