Homey Comfort Food

We had breakfast recently in this laid back, friendly cafe/restaurant. Huge portions, home made style, but better. I had thick slices of French Toast with home made blueberry compote and fresh fruit that was delicious. The place has a bit of a nostalgic hippy vibe in a very good way.

If you are looking for a friendly college town breakfast spot that caters to the vegan, organic, bohemian side of things look no further. Situated right next to the train station in Eugene, the cafe offers excellent fresh smoothie's and an assortment of typical sweet and savory breakfast dishes - most with bohemian elements.

Sure, it's known for its vegan, gluten-free and otherwise trendy choices. We're not either, so the bottom line for us was great food in a great environment. This happy little cafe is in the old, historic part of town near the hiking trails of Skinner Butte. The first thing you notice is, it's packed. And everybody is happy, even the... More

If you are looking for good Vegan food look no further. The Morning Glory Cafe was a wonderful place to dine. We went on Saturday morning and it was very busy. The service and food were both spot on. I would go back again. The pancakes were wonderful.

Mmmm..this place is wonderful. Vegans, Glutenfreetarians and plain ole healthy eaters can satisfy their palates here. From the moment I opened the door and took in the smells, the large display of pastries and beheld that healthy menu, I was smitten. Why do only places like Eugene have gems like this? The Three Fingered Omelette and Claire Bear Bomblette were... More

WOW! Well worth the wait! 15 minutes on Sunday morning. Busy and bustling with very friendly wait staff. Great vegan and vegetarian options. I enjoyed he "potato omelet" with veggies and soy sour cream. My husband had eggs. Wonderfully seasoned and VERY imaginative. Gluten free options! GREAT gluten free breads and pastries. Beautiful jam/sauce free on the table. NIce coffee... More

I don't recommend this place if you are looking for a traditional breakfast restaurant. This place would be nice for someone who has food allergies or is on a strict diet (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc. ) They have lots of food replacement options (soy ,etc.)

Wonderful vegetarian and vegan menu and great food. I had the Chilaquiles Mexi-cali tofu scrambled with organic blue corn tortilla chips, black olives & mild green chiles and a side of black beans. It was Delicious! Portions were generous and the staff was friendly.

It's hard to just go to a restaurant and have vegan options on every page of the menu. We had breakfast on Sunday morning, and I had the vegan omelette. Very very good. I think even non-vegans would appreciate it. Bubbly friendly waitress who was very good at her job. Maybe a bit distracted but it was jam packed so... More
