Visited for the first time on recommendation from friends. Saturday lunch rush, crazy packed, yet the service was top notch. I was seated quickly by a very friendly staff. My order was taken within moments, and I received my food within a reasonably quick time frame. Great vegan options for the menu, and the staff where very patient to explain... More

Not good food, although the atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. Probably not a good choice for people who want eat low carb or gluten free. It was convenient to the Amtrak station. Next time we will walk a ways. Perhaps the novelty of the flashback to the 60's is what makes it so popular. Two tries and they could not... More

This is a long standing restaurant in Eugene. When we starting eating here the place was considered hippy. Now the same wholesome food is gourmet! What a change in our perception. Still excellent.

I'm getting to Eugene more often due to a new granddaughter out there and so I get to sample more of the city's vegan cuisine. Morning Glory is a favorite spot. Very comfy for a group of people or for a single as I was this visit. Had the vegan French toast and some very thick and tasty organic apple... More

A flashback to the '60s like the town itself, the Morning Glory Café, with its vegetarian-vegan menu, is a must-stop anytime (before 3:30) we're near Eugene, Oregon. At our most recent visit, the cheerful interior had been repainted and as usual there was an interesting show of local art on the walls. The servers were pleasant and helpful, and if... More

We did a road trip from Seattle to Northern California (to see the Redwoods.) On our back home to Seattle (from Northern Cali), we stopped in Eugene for a night. I found Eugene to be a little disappointing and not worth a day stopover BUT we needed to rest & eat. A quick Yelp search got us to Morning Glory... More

Fantastic vegetarian cafe with loads of vegan options - they have the best vegan cinnamon roll that I have ever had: tender, a little flaky on the outside, chewy on the inside but not tough, loaded with cinnamon, some raisins and lightly drizzled with just a tiny bit of icing - I could marry the maker of this cinnamon roll... The food here is special and the menu quite creative. Everything ordered at our table was delicious. The cornbread waffles were really good and kept their crisp texture without ever going limp. The tantric mushroom gravy is a must have as are the sticky rolls which we shared as a table. Fresh ingredients and hippie vibe is a plus. Gets... More

Hard to find good coffee and even harder to find real home fries. Excellent food, eclectic menu and a meal enjoyed by all 4 of us!
