Description: Ambrosia was born from a love of italian tradition around food and wine. There is no better way to celebrate life than sharing a comforting meal with friends and family at the table! We feature classic italian cuisine inspired by the vibrant Pacific Northwest, and are known for our seasonal menu and nightly specials featuring local produce, seafood and meats, handmade pastas, wood-fired pizza and housemade classic italian desserts. We have an extensive wine list and sommeliers on staff, a full bar featuring local beers and hand-crafted cocktails and sodas. Weeknight happy hour. Our warm interior is decorated with classic furniture, primarily from the original owners of the building who were antique dealers. The soul of the restaurant is its wood-fired brick oven which was imported from Italy in pieces and assembled on site.

Ambiance cozy, waiter knowledgeable and helpful, drinks imaginative and delicious. Food was a bit on the pricy side, but generally not too much so. ( I ordered the halibut special - oops, $35 for a rectangle of halibut. Halibut, people! Always ask the prices of the specials.) I felt a little better when I learned later that halibut is expensive... More

First of all, excellent food, prepared well and well presented. Next, friendly and professional staff, very accommodating. Finally, very classy ambiance. All-in-all, a very, very nice experience. Had steaks, delicious!

Even though it was pouring with rain we sat at the window table and had the best food ever. The waiter was very helpful in the selection of our meals and was so friendly. The decor was so interesting and it made me ask him about the old brick wall which was explained it was shared with another building from... More

This restaurant has really good food and I like the atmosphere. This is a restaurant I will sure be going again. The wait can be really long even with a reservation which is disappointing.

This was a lovely surprise! The restaurant is relaxing, classy, interesting, and delightful. The food was fabulous, ample, graciously served. It was suitable for families as well as couples, and we will go there again when we are in Eugene!

I have to caution that I very rarely post a review here based on a single visit, but in this case I'm going to make an exception. The two of us had a lunch that comprised a chicken-bacon panini, a cup of house minestrone, a grilled chicken sandwich and a side salad. Not one, and I will repeat, not one... More

I highly recommend this eclectic restaurant. I was here with six friends, and we all had a great meal. The staff was friendly, and were happy to let us split meals and gave us individual tickets.

Honestly I am just one of those people who find it hard to believe any place can charge such high prices for pasta - it is pasta! This restaurant is nice inside, the waitress provided good service and the food was tasty. I felt the price was a bit too high.
