Looking for my bowl of oatmeal and was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast menu of eggless omelets and hemp breakfast sausages. Very pleased with service and atmosphere...price was comparable to average meal. The bathrooms are labeled 'anyone' so that confused me at first but then remembered I was in a college town. I'm glad we found it on a fluke-will... More

In a small former Deb's Cafe, the cooks at Cornbread (7th & Polk) deliver wholesome, delicious and unique vegan food in a 50s setting. At a recent dinner hour we chose from their build-you-own meal, with a protein hub and two sides. The big portobello mushroom with spinach and onions was most satisfying served with mashed potatoes and a rich... More

What a funky, trippy little time capsule with a vegan twist! My husband and I had dinner here on a recent visit and are so glad we did! I had a really good BBQ seitan sandwich and he had the fried (non)chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes. The jalapeño cornbread was excellent and we grabbed a wonderfully decadent chocolate-chip cookie... More

I am not vegan but this great place is good for anyone. It was a great find if you wNt to try something unique. It is comfort food, fried and creamy, but everything we had was delicious. It's definitely not Lo-cal. The atmosphere was good. Sit at the counter!

I have been here several times and am never disappointed. They have created vegan versions of southern comfort food, including "fish" fillets, mac and cheese, cornbread, bbq, cole slaw...... They also have vegan desserts, including occasionally a "fauxstess" cupcake, for those of you who miss that filling. The atmosphere is definitely "laid back" and local, which I enjoy. Servers are... I've been away from Eugene for about five months and I still find myself dreaming of and hankering a Cornbread Cafe brunch. The food is SERIOUS comfort food and delicious. The staff is always amazing and friendly. It's super cute and this veggie girl misses it like crazy!

My wife and I are both veggie and like to try out veggie and vegan restaurants when we're in different cities. We were a little disappointed with both the food, the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff and the general customer service. Place was a little tatty too. Having my beer served in a pickling jar is a little quirky... More

We're used to a healthier vegan selection - the jalapeno cornbread and chicken fried steak with cashew gravy were tasty, but we all had stomach aches after our meal. We won't visit again.
