Excellent Baked Goods

Chai tea was good but lacking the creamy that is the norm, more like regular spice tea. Still nice and not sickly sweet. The cheese and herb biscuit was excellent as was the gluten free peanut butter square. Coffee was also good. Located next to the train tracks which made it a bit noisy as two... read more

Ok, I'm a coffee snob. I'm one of those annoying blokes who insists on knowing the origins, argues with baristas about the brew temperature, and generally is a pest in line at 7:30am when everybody's just trying to grab their morning joe and get to work. Wandering Goat has made me start to relax about my coffee. I was walking... More

I'm so glad we made it a point to stop by before we headed back to Canada. Ordered a double espresso and did not regret it! Coffee is made fresh, tastes great and I decided to buy a pound of beans to take home! They also serve several kinds of granola and oatmeal, fresh biscuits and gravy too! At the... More

Used to love walking here from our daughter's home to this place for coffee. The service here has gotten so bad 1/2 hour waiting for your coffee is not unusual. At any time of day! The coffee is still great and I guess if you have time wait that is your choice. But for me there are too many good... More

I used to love this place and came here several times a week. Coffee was great, staff was friendly (they still are) and the environment was chill. Yes, there were lots of hippies and sometimes they didn't smell very good, but it was tolerable. But lately, things have really gone downhill. The new baristas aren't very good, and often the... For several years, this was my go-to place for java. No more. The latte has become wimpy--- perhaps they've weakened the "house" espresso blend or they're scrimping on shots (I typically have ordered 12 oz.). The baked offerings are what your high schooler would make after one class, i.e. amateurish. Music, chosen by staff, can be highly variable as can... More

Wandering Goat is my favorite coffee place in Eugene. The soups are fantastic! (And I don't even like soup.) The coffee is really good, and the best thing is that they have hemp, hazelnut, rice, and soy replacement milks (no extra charge except for hemp).

Great coffee and skilled baristas. My husband is hooked on the vegan biscuits and gravy (they are very good, as are the peanut butter bars...). The local flavor of the Whiteaker neighborhood is a bonus.

I've been here a couple of times to listen to music (free). It's a great place to hear some local talent and get a great cup of coffee.
