What a nice improvement. I revisited Sabai a few weeks ago after a very ho-hum meal last year. This year we were able to sit outside in very pleasant surrounds and had a nice experience. I enjoy "real" Thai food; not stuff for the American masses, and while this does not achieve that (still too sweet and rich) it's much... More

Outside seating best. Clean predictable fresh atmosphere. I have checked out the other 10 places in the complex and always end up back here. It's the best cuisine this part of Eugene. Solid wine list, mildly inspired cuisine, fresh ingredients, solid choice. Well trained on the spot staff. Not just college kids posing as waiters.

Nice place to eat! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food. Ate at Sabai 3 times while in town on business. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure why they call it a bar and café. It was a nice restaurant. The service was great, but not fast. We had no time schedule so that didn't matter. The food was great. We asked the waiter and waitress what they would recommend and they were spot on. The Angel on Fire was delicious. Calamari very lightly... More

We beat the crowd to dinner at this obviously popular restaurant. We had 2 appetizers, the Seared Scallops were very good, only 3 though. the fresh Salad rolls and peanut sauce were delicious and the Trip Tip Steak with Yams also pretty good. The Yams were very lightly coated with tempura giving it a nice flavor and Spicy Aioli the... More

Love Sabai! I've been many times for lunch and dinner. The service is typically very good although occasionally we have had a waiter who is not very attentive. The food is consistently very good.

They do a great job with the GF options. Flavorful and satisfying. Service is a bit slow and wasn't consistently attentive per each table. My partner's regular food choices were nicely prepared and flavorful as well. Clean, hip atmosphere.

As a retired couple, we dine out a lot. This is by far one of the best in town, in the valley, in the county, in the state and 'by golly' in the world. From the savory food, to the presentation, to the ambiance and for the reasonable price, Sabai is not to be missed. Enjoy. It can get crowded,... More

What a great little place. Classy and understated decor, great food presentation and taste, and affordable prices. It gets busy so we typically sit at the bar for a casual and relaxing dinner. So fun to watch the bartenders make every drink carefully and thoroughly - not just splashing things together. The menu is rich with choices and the service... More

We choose to go early on a weekend night and did not have to wait or have reservations but by ,the place was full with a line outside in the rain. I can see why. Great food, well presented and flavorful with just the right amount of hot (one pepper, two pepper or three pepper). We decided to try the... More
