08/22, around 6:35 pm. After entering the restaurant, none of staff was greeting us, 2 female staff kept talking to each other behind the reception counter. We went close to the counter and stood a foot away from them; however, they kept talking and ignored us for minutes. We're disgusted by their arrogant, poor customer services, so we left Sabai... Our waiter Tyler took great care of us. The food was solidly good. The atmosphere annoys me. I don't like sports televisions in nicer restaurants. I find it very jarring and the restaurant feels cold elegant rather than inviting. But Tyler was great!

This is a wonderful Thai Restaurant . It's atmosphere is vibrant, the bar is lively and the food is delicious. We alphas a selection of starters; Vietnamese chicken wings, sticky and sweet. Filo pastry filled with a wonderful cream cheese and crab. Tuna pieces underdone and fantastic. Mains were a red Thai curry with chicken, a thick noddles vegetable curry... More

I was skeptical when my wife suggested a fine dining meal in an urban mall. That was several years ago. We've NEVER had a poor experience at Sabai. Service is excellent and meals fantastic. What impresses me each and ever visit is the visibility of the owners of the restaurant. Both are available and thrilled that you've chosen their restaurant... More

What a great dinner date surprise. My husband and I were met at the door and seated right away. The service was great. The waitstaff helped me decide on a fabulous cocktail. The bartender made a great drink. We ordered appetizers that were served quick and hot; Not to mention super yummy. We both had the spicy cashew noodles. We... More

What a nice improvement. I revisited Sabai a few weeks ago after a very ho-hum meal last year. This year we were able to sit outside in very pleasant surrounds and had a nice experience. I enjoy "real" Thai food; not stuff for the American masses, and while this does not achieve that (still too sweet and rich) it's much... More

Outside seating best. Clean predictable fresh atmosphere. I have checked out the other 10 places in the complex and always end up back here. It's the best cuisine this part of Eugene. Solid wine list, mildly inspired cuisine, fresh ingredients, solid choice. Well trained on the spot staff. Not just college kids posing as waiters.

I'm not sure why they call it a bar and café. It was a nice restaurant. The service was great, but not fast. We had no time schedule so that didn't matter. The food was great. We asked the waiter and waitress what they would recommend and they were spot on. The Angel on Fire was delicious. Calamari very lightly... More

We beat the crowd to dinner at this obviously popular restaurant. We had 2 appetizers, the Seared Scallops were very good, only 3 though. the fresh Salad rolls and peanut sauce were delicious and the Trip Tip Steak with Yams also pretty good. The Yams were very lightly coated with tempura giving it a nice flavor and Spicy Aioli the... More
