A good small restaurant

We had a group of 6 which seemed almost too big for this little restaurant. It was constantly busy though, showing off its popularity. The food was good, unique combinations of ingredients and flavors made for dishes that seemed fresh, local, and one of a kind. The beer list was mostly local, and... read more

Great restaurant with many southern-themed menu items (eg, grits, black beans and rice). The service is consistently excellent. We especially appreciate that the restaurant emphasizes purchasing local foods. Breakfasts are excellent! Don't miss it.

We have been to this restaurant several times. Every time we go, we have not been disappointed. Their food is excellent, tasty and fresh. The portions are generous so we always have a 'to go' box. The owner is always around and everyone who works there pitches in to help each other out.

We ordered: * Bbq pork sliders - good, nice crunch w slaw * Ahi poke salad - bit of heat but not overpowering, good * Local crater lake Pinot Gris - good and refreshing Liked that they had a lot of local beers/wine available. Staff attentive and good.

The food choices are quite varied and delicious. My favorites are the spinach salad (not available any longer except on request), and the sweet potato fries with wonderful dipping sauce. Fried chicken is excellent as are the hamburgers. Something for everyone.

We celebrated my Mom's 70th Birthday! The staff were very welcoming and allowed for us to come in early to decorate the tables. It has a very nice atmosphere... a touch of class! Nice place for family as well as a romantic dinner for two! Food was amazing... A little on the expensive side for our wallets... but, worth it... More

Relaxed atmosphere, upscale presentation, great imaginative food, not crazy expensive but cheap either, but you get what you pay for. Service is somewhat slow at times. Halibut cakes (appetizer) are a wonderful surprise! Brisket Bandito another awesome surprise! Ordered tortilla chips to dip it for 4 people -yum. Meatloaf dinnner excellent. Honey mustard dressing delish on our dinner salad. I... More

We all had a wonderful lunch, we started our meal with fried green tomatoes, I could not make them that good came with spicy and mild sauce. I like the cobb salad before but ordered meatloaf sandwich this was good too.

I had the Mac and Cheese which was good but not great. My wife had the BBQ Nachos which were really good and it was a very big portion enough for at least two people if not more. We had good service so no complaints there. I would come back and try something else.

Went for lunch with a group of 10 on the way to Crater Lake. Easy on and off of I-5. Got seated in under 20 minutes (we split until 5&5). Everything we ordered was delicious. Pulled Pork BBQ nachos are a must if you're eating with friends. Sandwiches are shareable. Perfect last meal before going off the map camping!
