Great Coffee and Baked Goods in U District........

The Expresso Roma is a great little bakery and coffee shop right in the U District on 13th. The food is great and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably prices and a great central location right near the university.

This was my favorite cafe when I attended U of O in the mid-90s, and it was every bit as good on my recent visit. It is even larger than before with two indoor rooms and a covered back patio area (my preference). I ordered an iced chai cider and my husband ordered an Italian soda. I recommend the iced... More

I have coffee here quite often. One sip of this stuff and my eyes are OPEN. Although i usually have one kind of coffee they have a great selection. Their spinach cheese croissant is a great breakfast.

We are coffee snobs. When visiting Eugene we walk a mile to get coffee here. It beats Peet's! Also they have the biggest selection of breakfast pastries I've ever seen, including several kinds of sandwiches. And a good-size seating area.

We have a Cafe Roma in Berkeley, CA, but the homemade pastries in this shop put all others to shame. Indulge in chocolate banana oat muffins, and you'll feel good and virtuous all day. And the lattes are good and strong. The couple running the place are very nice, and celebrating 25 years together their pride in the store is... More

Espresso Roma is a favorite with college students for the very strong coffee. The coffee is pretty good, but not amazing. The isn't wi-fi at the coffee shop and it has a public school cafeteria feel to it. There's nothing bad about Espresso Roma, but nothing amazing either.

I'm a UO student, and I love going to Espresso Roma to study or relax. The drinks are wonderful, the scones and baked goods are delicious, and it's all for a fair price. Ambiance is charming, good location, and the service is fast and friendly. Couldn't ask for more!
