First visit and not my last! The ocean storm was a great dish! The prices were high but when we saw the portion size it was actually quite reasonable.

Food is average. Husband has had good luck with noodle dishes. Wife could not even eat her last meal. The shrimp was slimy and bad tasting. OK if you are a big Thai food fan but if you are not, stay away.

I used to frequent Mekala's for their fabulous buffet. They no longer offer that, and the manager-owner sometimes waits tables. She shouldn't.

The food is absolutely delicious, one of my absolute favorite restaurants. But it's very disappointing when you happen upon their business during a Matt Knight Arena event and they only have their (very) limited menu. Will be returning again, definitely.

We came on a Sunday night to use a coupon, so wasn't quite sure what to expect. We sat at 2 different tables, the first of which was directly in line with a cooling vent, so we moved to a more out of the way spot. Both tables were sticky and the menus were placemat-style. Mine had spots on it... More

I was a little disappointed by Mekala's. Perhaps it was what I chose to order, basic Phad Thai, but it was quite bland and flavorless.

I chose this place for a family dinner on short notice yesterday. I'd eaten here once or twice before with mediocre results, but the location and easy I-5 access made it ideal for our needs, so I picked it for us. The service was good, but I've had slow servers before. Ours was reasonably prompt and very friendly. The ambiance... More

We were served old food. Shrimp was rubber covered with sauce. Chicken was dry and probably cooked the day before. Even shredded carrots to decorate dish were old and dry. And who runs out of chicken at 6 pm? We're you not planning on serving dinner? We certainly don't feel lucky to have gotten the last one.

Not the best Thai I've had. Atmosphere was ok and the prices were a bit steep for Thai food.
