Our visit here was great!! The food was great! I had fish, rice and corn bread.... It was all scrumptious. My significant other had chicken and a variety of other things.... My son had a hard time though, kids menu is nonexistent 👀 hence the 4 stars but if they had food specifically for kids instead of us trying to... More

New Orleans is our fav vacation destination so we were excited to find this place. Meats were cooked to perfection. Sides pretty decent. Sweet Tea awesome! The only thing that could make this place better would be Salt, Louisiana Hot Sauce, and Crystal's on the table..... can't figure out why they don't have them? Lots of items not on menu.... More

Food was amazing! Cornbread perfect, pulled pork was delicious. Can be crazy busy so don't be afraid to do take out.

We have been there by recommendation. My first impression was, that it's too crowded for having a dinner, but to set your name on the waiting list for a free table is absolutely worth! The menu is nore too small nor too big. We tried different meals, which all were awesome! The service team is friendly and proffessional. I recommend... More

I have been many times and enjoyed the food. I especially like the fried chicken. The menu is also fun. There are often lines when I have been there so be flexible. My only negative experience was with one server that wasn't helpful and we had to wait on our food for nearly 45 minutes. She said our order of... More

I recently went to this place for the first time---after it has been here for years, go figure! I was in a party of 7, and we all tasted everything! Their fried chicken was delightful, and the list of sides went on and on---and after I tasted the Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Corn, Corn Bread,... More

Papa's Soul Food Kitchen is located in the super hip Whiteaker neighborhood in Eugene and is a great place to pop in for a bite when health food is not what you crave. The gumbo was good, and the prices are reasonable. We were there for lunch, so I had iced tea, but the local craft beers would go well... More

We recently tried this restaurant, and it's kind of a fun, funky place, big portions, great, friendly and fast service, very reasonable prices! I tried the jerk chicken, just one bite and I loved it! Sauce was sweet yet spicy, found out it was a banana/habanero sauce, very different! For $11.00 it was a big portion, I had fries and... More

Tough place to get in but worth the wait. Fried chicken I have had in a long time. Fun place with everyone just having good time.
