For main street - I think it beats Mo's - so there you go! :) It's not too thick and reasonably priced.

We've been here several times before and when I told my wife we were having lunch here she was excited to have her favorite crab melt. We got there mid afternoon and she ordered the crab melt and I had the chowder and salad. We probably won't be back. Too many other places to try in the area.

Good chowder. Good fish tacos. Nothing spectacular but fairly good beach food. The patio seating was very nice...much better than the loud interior seating.

This is our go to spot for food when we come to Depoe Bay. We always receive fast service and everyone is super nice. Yes its a little old inside, but the chowder is amazing. Highly recommended

Okay, when I was in high school (about 25 years ago!), this was my favorite place for chowder on this part of the coast. The train running around the perimeter of the room was fun too. Owner was really nice and would turn it on just for us girls. BUT, I went with my mom and sisters this last summer... More

The wife and I came in and ordered two bread bowls- the cannon bowl- with chowder. The red-haired gal who took our order was nice enough, but maybe a little flighty? It took 10mins our drinks and around 20mins to get two bowls of chowder and they weren't really all that busy. But we love the chowder so, we'll keep... More

This place had the worst fish and chips we have EVER had. I'm pretty sure they weren't fresh either because they were really hard and chewy although that could be because of the way they were cooked. They were fried but there wasn't even any batter or breading on them. The chowder was awful too. It was more like a clam... More

This is a small, charming, friendly place with excellent food and service. The name tells the customer what to order. The chowder is the best on the coast. Portions are large. The calamari was excellent with different sauces than one usually gets with this appetizer and are recommended. A 20 minute wait was well worth it and while waiting there... More

The food was so disappointing! Should have left when we found out they had no craft beer but decided to try anyway based on the other reviews. Had crab and shrimp melts, not good. No seasoning, full of mayo and american cheese. Coleslaw was gross, even the chicken strip were marginal. Felt ripped off after we paid the fairly large... More
