Best Razor Clams on the coast

Tidal Raves is best of everything. View, food, wine & cocktails! We went two nights in a row. Start out with their extensive cocktail menu. Never been to a place with so many unusual and different drinks. Fist night I had their Chippino. Best I've ever had. My wife had their scallops, also... read more

We've made this our favorite beach restaurant for years. The last three times - over 1 year and a half - we have been disappointed. Beach restaurant with a fabulous view should do seafood right. The last three visits have had over cooked fish. When I discussed the problem with management she said they must have had a bad night.... More

The food was really good, server was friendly, but the view was spectacular. The way the tables were set up, looked like they would all have an ocean view. Beautiful!

The special ahi tuna was a tad on the dry side but otherwise flavorable. The smoked prawns as a starter were really good and different. Go for the soups instead of the salad; oyster and spinach or smoked salmon were both very nice. The halibut dinner was the standout between the two of us. The red tempranillo wine was tart... More

The food was great, service was great and the view , how can I describe anything so beautiful. What more can I say?

My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday here. It was stunning to watch the sunset into the ocean while drinking wine and enjoying our crab cakes. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. The view is amazing paired with excellent food. It made for a beautiful evening. One he and I will remember fondly for years.

This restaurant is perched above the ocean with a commanding view of Depoe Bay and waves breaking over volcanic cliffs, so go during daylight hours so you can really enjoy the view through the panoramic windows. In fact, go for lunch because the menu is the same as at dinner, but with slightly smaller portions and lower prices. We've eaten... More

My wife and I have been to this restaurant several times, and it has never failed to delight us. Since my review in 2013, they have gotten better than ever! Absolutely the best halibut that I have ever had. Taste, texture, properly cooked: it had it all. Even the soup preceding the meal was at an all time best. The... More

Our first time in the area, our host at "By the Waves" recommended this place for dinner. He warned that it gets packed, and we went around 4:00, which was perfect. It isn't a large establishment, but there isn't a bad view in the house. You look over the cliffs and into an ocean that never tires of offering her... More

I have eaten at Tidal Raves on every visit to the Oregon Coast and was slightly disappointed this time around. The menu offered a very limited selection of non-seafood options. While I enjoyed the spicy vegetarian black bean soup and chicken sandwich, it didn't seem quite as spectacular as it has been on past visits. The key lime pie was... More
