Best meal we had while visiting the Northern Coast

This restaurant had the best food, service and view. I had the fish and chips with the most wonderful slaw. It was very fresh and slaw innovative in taste. My husband had Coconut crusted wild wild shrimp. Portions were just right although so good you didn't want to stop eating them. For dessert... read more

My wife and I visited Tidal Raves for lunch. The view is great - not a bad seat in the house. My wife had clam chowder and I had the smoked salmon chowder with our meals. Both were excellent choices. The mixed seafood platter with a glass of Oregon Pinot Gris wine. A wonderful start to our Oregon Coast vacation.

This is a super nice place to eat. The location (right on the water) is only the beginning. The food is excellent as well as the service is excellent. However, the pace of the meal was a little slow - from appetizer to soup/salad to the delivery of the main course. This place will not disappoint - we will be... More

Stopped for lunch spontaneously, great place! View is amazing, soup and chowders delicious and two thumbs up on the kids menu for providing items outside your traditional fried fair. Great food!!

Other reviewers are right! Great view, fabulous food, and great value for the quality. We lucked out with a brief wait (no reservation) and had a great experience. This is a top choice when compared to anywhere on the Oregon Coast. I had crab cakes, wife had crab salad, with three drinks and calamari, total bill was $70! Attention to... More

Classy, classy restaurant with an unparalled view of the ocean. There is a pod of whales that stay year-round, so in addition to lunch you get entertainment. the food was superb - Shrimp Louie salad to die for and Po Boy rockfish sandwich.

The view was the best! Food was marginal. The server with the bun on top of her head was rude, abrupt and added nothing positive to the experience. They were not busy so not sure what her problem was. Took friends visiting from North Carolina. Not a good representation of Pacific NW

Didn't have a reservation so we waited for half an hour which was no problem. Friendly staff and great views! The food was excellent too. We had calamari appetizer, hubby has halibut and I had crab cakes. Was very good food and nice place.within half mile from our bed and breakfast (the Channel House).

We made reservations that day and we were able to get in at 8:45 Monday evening. We had not been to this area in many, many years and did not know about this restaurant. We will call ahead next time. The seafood was fresh and preparations delicious. The menu choices diverse. Staff was professional and very nice. Lovely understated atmosphere... More
