We ate there last night and had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent( crab cakes, razor clams, coconut shrimp with rice and orange sauce, a good bottle of Pino Gris and last but not least vanilla ice cream with a large cookie). The food and service were equal to the fantastic view. If you want to try this place... More

This is a very nice restaurant with outstanding food and a killer view. It can be a little spend, but you get a LOT better food, a much better price, and a LOT better view than Restaurant Beck down the road.

When I host someone coming to the coast for the first time, I often take them to Tidal Raves for their first meal. There are not very many true ocean front restaurants on the Central Coast that are good -- most are hotel based eateries. The view at Tidal Raves is the star. You are almost sitting on top of... The service was outstanding and we were impressed with how knowledgeable the waitress was regarding the wine selections . The chiopino ( seafood stew) was simply amazing ! The crabcakes were an extremely generous portion . The oysters were the best and the freshest we have ever had.

Good food at reasonable prices. Good view of the ocean. Having a reservation will help to guarantee a table. However, a reservation didn't seem to be appreciated by the restaurant. The people that walked in ahead of our party did not have a reservation and were given a table by the window overlooking the ocean. I made the reservation for... More

I've driven through Depoe Bay a bunch of times, passing by the Tidal Raves Restaurant, but never thinking to stop. Recently we went by for lunch. Apparently the word is out about this place. We waited about 30 minutes, which wasn't that bad. Once ushered into the main dining area we were in for a treat - an expansive view... More

Stunning view and excellent seafood. Also had other choices for the non-seafood people. The wild Solomon was great.

I'd never had a nice dinner on the Oregon coast before going to Tidal Waves. Great fresh seafood. Fancy and unique cocktail specials. I recommend calling for a reservation and going for sunset. The dining room overlooks a cliff on the bay. We went when it was too dark to see but I imagine it would be a beautiful sunset... More

Tidal Raves offers a great lunch with a great view of the ocean. Various seafoods are offered at a great price and friendly service. In season it is a great place to dine while looking for whales out in the bay.
