I had heard nothing but raves (pun fully intended!) about Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay. I made a reservation for 6 and showed up about 5 minutes beforehand and checked in. Surprisingly our table was ready in about 5 minutes, despite the line of people waiting to get in! We waited about 10 minutes before our server showed up and... more

I read a pile of restaurant reviews on Trip Advisor for our 18th wedding anniversary. I wanted to get dressed to the max, and then enjoy good food and a great view. We short listed 3 - The Bay House on Siletz Bay, Tidal Raves on Depoe Bay, and Saffron Salmon in Newport. Even though there was no website to... more

We have been coming to Lincoln City for years. We have also been going to Tidal Raves for most of those years. We love this place. Everything (without exception) has been delicious and beautifully presented. They are very busy so we don't expect to have someone coming to our table often to see if everything is okay. They can probably... more

We love this place, not a bad seat in the house! I've read some reviews that are not too favorable, but I honestly can say we've never had a bad experience there. I have seen complaints about the service... well, it's not a fast food joint, so you should expect some time to peruse the menu and to slowly enjoy... more

You would think that a restaurant in salmon country would be able to cook salmon properly, but two different wild salmon dishes were overcooked. more

We have visited Tidal Raves several times, the first of which right after we were engaged to be married. We have never come away dissapointed. The service is wonderful, the food delicious, the price is a little higher than some places, but totally worth it! We love the view of the ocean, you can sometimes whale watch right from your... more

"Tidal Raves" is an unpretentious, creative, attentive restaurant with a great view. On sunny days, you might glimpse a whale (or take a whale-watching tour from the tiny harbor a 10 minutes' walk away). On stormy days, you marvel at nature's strength (a favorite winter activity called "storm watching" on the Oregon coast). Other folks' reviews suggest an inconsistency in... more

This place is GREAT! The only complaint I have is the name is kind of corny. I had the Pasta Rave with marinara sauce. It was perfect and filling. My wife had the scallops which were covered with sesame seeds. The scallops were sweet and heavenly. The view is tremendous also. more

My husband and I decided to give this a try after reading the positive reviews. My parents live in the area so we have had the chance to try many different options. This was easily one of the worst meals we have ever paid for! The service was so slow and unfriendly. We ordered drinks and crab cakes and waited... more
