The idea for this cafe has been resting in our minds for years, since the first time I unlocked the door to the French restaurant I was managing in California, to the moment I cooked with my new love and his mommy, not snails and Vouvray but Pinot and Pork!...I knew one day we would create a place to share our love of yummy things with the world! We all envisioned a cafe that would offer an escape from the ordinary and a window into the world of the extraordinary! With the guidance and support of our families and friends we are pleased to introduce the French inspired Cafe C'est La Vie to our coastal community. We opted to eat here after seeing other reviews and we are glad we did. Charming small light breakfast fare. All freshly made on the spot. Wonderful savory crepes, breakfast sandwiches and pastries with a French flare. Good coffee. It is a tiny cafe but there was room both days we went to eat. Worth a stop.

First we stopped at Tidal Raves and it was a 45 minute wait at 2:00 in the afternoon. Decided not to wait and by chance were lucky to find this bistro. So glad we did, great food - shared the Croquette Madame, which was delicious and was accompanied by a variety of tasty plums. Then shared the Bella crepe with... More

I've been to this place twice in the last 6 months and both times found that the woman who works the counter and I assume is the owner is less than hospitable. She doesn't seem interested in fully answering questions about the crepes or the baked goods. Both times I was there she was busy and my questions seemed to... More

Perfect little spot to grab coffee, tea and breakfast. Sadly, we didn't have any food but the crepes looked amazing. The people eating looked like they enjoyed every bite. If it's warm enough sitting outside is a joy. The gal who owns the place is a sweetheart and does a great job of cooking and being friendly with the customers.... More

I recently read an article about a restaurant in Depoe Bay that served crepes.Curiosity got the best of me and while looking for a late lunch searched out C'est La Vie. It's somewhat hard to find and I think they like it that way. It's north on 101 past the bustle of downtown Depoe Bay and right before Gleneden Beach.... More

Crêpes both savory and sweet, house baked scones with dried cherries, excellent coffee, sweet round cafe tables and wrought iron chairs both inside and out, a five minute walk from our houses -- just what we wanted!

Yummy!!!! The Croquette Madame was amazing!!! The rest of our party had crepes and if they could have licked their plates they would have. Definitely worth a repeat visit this trip

A wonderful neighborhood coffee shop with a French atmosphere. The coffee, and food are awesome. The owner, who is the cook and server is a great person. Totally focuses on Customer Delight. Local artists display many of the works of art (for sale) in the shop. A must coffee shop to visit whenever in the area.

Thought I would check this place out for a light lunch . When you first walk in, it looks just like a little coffee shop. But they have an excellent choice of both sweet and savory crepes for breakfast or lunch. I had a savory crêpe with Swiss cheese roasted red peppers zucchini and mushrooms, and a light roasted red...
