The only Irish Pub in Depoe Bay

The Landmark Spouting Horn at the Bridge has finally closed. Eight places to eat remain in Depoe Bay. They sell lunch/dinner. fish/chips, pasties, stew, etc. Not an appealing décor, but the owner is friendly. If you are in town for any length of time it is worth having lunch at least once.

We visited Depoe Bay for one week and it included St. Patrick's Day. We were excited about going to O'Downey's for St. Patrick's Day after reading their website. It said they would open at noon that day and we are older so we were there at about 12:30 p.m. A lady was coming out of the restaurant and never said... More

I was in the mood for a Reuben and wanted to try the local Irish fare. After sitting for twenty minutes, I finally was able to order. I swear I've never had a "cubed" Reuben before! I was expecting finely shaved corned beef stacked high, but I received neither. The price wasn't bad, but they need to hire some help... More

We enjoyed our fish and chips and nice cold pints of beer. I thought the menu was pretty varied. We would have tried Irish stew, but she had not made up a batch yet.

Paddy has moved her location the the middle of town, right next to the old brass gift shop. Top quality Irish Stew, and Guinness on tap!

Downey is our name with stuff attached in front,.Suffer the prejudice to extol virtues as they are to be achieved. At the only traffic light in town all you do is turn. (Got that? Ya. Perfect.) Sure and my daughter cut Penny's hair and was befriended, I,m thinking it is worth a visit. And tell her Tommy sent you.

Perhaps the relocation has set the business back. Hanging some Irish flags and having Irish beers on tap does not an Irish Pub, make. Had hamburgers. Pretty average with greasy French fries. The kitchen needs some fine tuning with fresh ingredients, not frozen.

This pub looks really newly renovated--everything was super clean and shiny new; cheerfully decorated, and appeared to be a favorite with the locals. Very family friendly and good for watching a game. They have the Irish beers you'd expect on tap--prices very reasonable. We split a fish and chips; and though that might make it tough to gauge the quality... More

Our group of 4 stumbled on this great little pub last night. The old location was located at the very south end of Depoe Bay and was a bit out of the way. The new location is nestled right behind the little caramel corn and candy shops near the bridge. The owner Penny chatted with us and was so nice!... More
