I am here almost every trip to Depoe Bay - great breakfasts, I think all day - and you get a lot of bang for your buck! As a Texan, I am fussy about biscuits and gravy - but they deliver, great portions - am fond of their hashbrowns a great deal, too. In fact, ask for 'em well done... More

I had the excellent halibut fish and chips. Well, the fish part was great, the chips were bland. They have really good cole slaw and fine tartar sauce. The iced tea disappointed us, a little off - maybe the water? The waitresses could not have been nicer to our large group. They could have used some help and the kitchen... More

We stayed here (loved the lodging) so eating here was super convenient. Food was just ok. It didn't taste like it was fresh made, more like from pre made and frozen items. It tasted ok but for the price, I would have preferred a fresher flavor. The view from the dining room is amazing.

The food is plentiful. It was a bit crowded so service was slow. Omelette prepared nicely and was tasty. We would go again.

We heard this place had the best clam chowder, so we went about 6:30 p.m. with our family. We were told by the teenage hostess that only two waiters were available and they had all the tables they could handle. We decided to wait. The hostess even made the comment "It's not my fault." She needs customer service training. She... More

Enjoyed dinner with friends. Crab salad was excellent..lots of Dungeness crab with fresh lettuce & veggies. Prime rib looked excellent and my husband enjoyed the fettuccini. The bread is a show stopper! Will definitely go again

Went here with some local friends we were visiting. They wanted to try the Friday Seafood buffet. OK...nice view but $23 for fried (probably frozen) cod sticks, calamari, shrimps, dry over cooked salmon, tilapa (was ok) frozen vegetables, untouched mashed potatoes, some kind of seafood pasta, FRESH CRAB was one of the only real foods on the buffet. Over salted... More

This morning Friday Aug 1st my husband and I went to the Surfrider for breakfast. We have been there many times before. As soon as we sat down the fire alarm went off. After awhile it stopped and we ordered. No one explained anything. Just before our food came the alarm went off again Never to Stop!! We ate our... More

Hoping for an excellent view, we made a reservation on this Monday evening. Mom was avidly seeking razor clams. We arrived earlier than planned to find two waiters scrambling to serve a group of diners seated in the ocean front area of the restaurant. We waited a long while to be seated but were acknowledged while we waited. Our first... More

Very clean and well laid out for privacy. We were there mid-afternoon when it was virtually empty. Service just Ok...our server did not seem to be people friendly,Food Ok, view magnificent..our first view of gray whales.
