We were in Depoe Bay for a week at our Worldmark timeshare, so we prepared almost all our meals in our condo. But one afternoon, my 89-year-old Mom and my aunt (92) said they had a craving for clam chowder so we made the one-mile drive to Gracie's for dinner. The restaurant was about half-full when we arrived a little... More

Read all the reviews and so when we were in Depoe Bay last September we made a point to check Gracie's out. I travel a lot and eat out all the time. The clam chowder is excellent but that is where it ends. My meal was not good and my husband only enjoyed the clam chowder. The atmosphere was nice... More

I have eaten many bowls of clam chowder over the years but none compare to Gracie's Sea Hag. I always stop there when travelling in the area. It is soooo good. The atmosphere is mom and dad-type eatery and there is a pub attached to it. The fish and chips are wonderful as well but the chowder? Oh the chowder.

Gracies is always a must do when we are in Depoe Bay. We are there about twice a year and the food and service are always the best. This trip there was live music in the bar which was nice to listen to as we ate. The Ling cod is caught locally and probably the best prepared in the area!

Best chowder on the coast that we found. Its a small place across the street from the whale observatory. The place can be crowded but you won't be disappointed with a wait. Wait staff were very accommodating even with demanding grandchildren.

My wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and I stopped at Gracie’s Sea Hag for lunch while we were visiting the Depoe Bay shops on Thursday, June 11, 2014. It was extra busy while we were there and we had to wait for a table, along with two or three other parties. I think they hadn’t planned on the crowd, so the wait... More

We were late getting into town due to several traffic backups along the way. I knew from looking at Tripadvisor before we left that Gracie's was one of the few places open late. I had the clam chowder to start which was very good. Topped with butter, parsley, and paprika, it was so flavorful and obviously make with real cream.... More

I had eaten here years ago, and thought the clam chowder was excellent. This time, we were disappointed all the way around. The chowder was ok. We decided to split a Louie with crab and shrimp. What we got was a mountain of iceberg lettuce with a small dab of shrimp and a small dab of crab for a VERY... More

8 of us went for dinner and the service was excellent. Especially for 8 of us Those that had fish and chips and burgers really enjoyed them Those of us that had seafood or steak dishes not so much especially for the price. Although the crab and shrimp au gratin with French fries mixed in was apparently the best seafood... More
