I am not sure how I missed this place for years visiting Depoe Bay - but last year I finally went in and was bowled over at the incredible BBQ!!! That flair that they really care about their product really shines. Great homemade sauce and I believe they marinate meants 72 hours or something - just wowsah!!! NOW - I... More

Awful ribs! We took the food back to our hotel to eat and ended up having to throw the ribs out after the first bite - WAAAAY too smoky and gross. The sweet sauce is sickeningly sweet. The best part of the cornbread was the honey butter to spread on top. I've had better cornbread from a boxed mix. The... More

It isn't always available but this has become one of my favorite on-the-go lunches. They even see me coming and just shout out the door- Andoulle sausage? Yup. They take a very tasty sausage, split it length wise, add onions and grill it to add just a little char to the sausage and the onions. At the table I add... More

I spotted Bonepile the 2nd day of my stay in Depoe Bay, and decided to try it a few days later. I wished the great smell that permeated the air matched the taste of the ribs. I've had ribs from a variety of places across the states, so I know that some are definitely better than others--but this was not... More

This is good BBQ! We ate here back in 2013 and came back again in June 2014. It's great for take-out or eat-in in the small eclectic dining area filled with oddball mementos. The St. Louis style ribs were delicious. My wife usually goes for the pulled pork sandwiches. You get a couple of sides with your meal, and they... More

I gave this restaurant a 5 star rating, not because it's the best food ever but because it is a place that we just keep coming back to time and again. Yes, the BBQ is really good, especially the sandwiches; pulled pork, the SOB and the version with bacon (really the best). The sandwiches are big (we usually split one),... More

Solid Bar-B-Q joint. I had the pork sliders, which came with cole slaw, plus the potato salad and beans. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich. Competent, nicely done. I had the pie, afterwards. Peach. Skip the pie, as the filling is way too thick and not because of the fruit.

I must say, this is some of the best BBQ pork I've ever tasted. I'm especially a fan because the meats are local and fresh. The walls of memorabilia make for an entertaining atmosphere. You gotta add bacon to your sandwich, it's to die for. I'll return again and bring some friends.

This is a funky place inside. A visual treat of memorabilia line the walls. Pulled pork sandwiches are huge and delicious, especially if you smother with house barbecue sauce. I have not tried anything else here. I want to come try an outdoor barbecue in the summer, though. Sounds good and a lot of fun. But, if nothing else, go... More
