We went once, had a bad meal and a bad waitress and never went back. The fish was still frozen in the middle. My wife who never ever complains very nicely mentioned it and the waitress said "what do you want me to do about it?" and walked away.

Why does this place close eary? I love your crab cakes, please stay open later! Also, service was just ok..

If you have a dinner salad be prepared for just lettuce a couple of croutons and some walnuts. I had the french onion soup as the menu offered little in the way of vegetarian, and it was barely warm.

We enjoyed the food, it was well prepared and the price was appropriate for what we had. The service was very slow and we had to ask for menus. Once served we had to summon the waitress to get additional help as she rarely checked back with us.

Have been twice, each time had decent service with good well seasoned, well prepared food. Had the halibut the first time and a Rib eye this visit. Nothin fancy for sure, but we will be going back. Local sourced beef, homemade soup and good clam chowder.

The salad bar was fresh and clean. The service was prompt and food was good restaurant fare. Seafood was local frozen. Jack's is known for fresh beef and prime rib on Fridays. The place was clean and that is important to me!

Good price for an old fashion menu - especially at early bird time. No complaints. Expect pretty good steak and seafood.
