Sushi is great. Enjoyed the calamari as well. Restaurant wasn't as crouded as have seen but only saw two servers for the entire place. Hostess was seating patrons then trying to take orders, get water, etc. Table beside us walked out after waiting. Had the special plate and my wife's beef was cold (not just luke-warm), Hostess appologized for wait... More

This is a nice sushi restaurant but the prices are very high and because it is by the piece a $50 lunch can sneak up on you in a hurry. the food is excellent as aomatsu set the bar for sushi in corvallis

Several choices in meat or tofu, paired with salad, miso soup, and tempura veggies and shrimp. Slow delivery of meals, however, so allow a little extra time. Children love the area where the seating is "below level". It also keeps them from running around as easily. Another make sure to eat here restaurant. They also have wonderful sushi. Mmmm.

A coworker and I stopped here for dinner one night in Corvalis. As luck would have it, it was happy hour. For $50 we got two miso soups, four sushi rolls, four pieces of sushi on rice, and a bottle of sake. Would definitely recommend and will be stopping again when I'm back in town!

I was disappointed in food and dining experience. Service was very polite though. Tempura too greasy to eat. Salad dressing not appealing. Dining area in serious need of deep cleaning. Soy sauce containers looked dirty. I left my entire plate of tempura and complained of greasiness to waiter, but was still charged for uneaten meal. Maybe we should have asked,... More

Aomatsu has an excellent, high-class lunch and a good dinner scene. There aren't a lot of good sushi restaurants in the Willamette Valley and this one really stands out as excellent one. The sushi and the bento meats are both very good. The miso, ginger salad, tempura, and white rice are all quite tasty as well. If you want sushi... More

Though they were short a person we got great service. We ordered rolls when we sat down and got them pretty fast considering it was very busy. We sat in the booth area toward the back where 4 tables are kind of more private. We were on one end and a young couple on the other end. Then in came... More

We've been coming to Aomatsu for years now and we think it has the best sushi in Oregon. Waikiki roll is our favorite, but like just about all of them.

Great environment, friendly service, and excellent food. Aomatsu offers a good mix of traditional and near-fusion food. I look forward to the next visit to try more on their menu.
