The food looked pretty good, but it's no good to me if they ignore me for fifteen minutes. The place wasn't THAT busy. They could have at least greeted us and told us what the wait was going to be. I aggressively went up and stood in four different people's sight line and they aggressively averted their gaze and went... More

I took my mom who is Japanese to this restaurant a couple weeks ago because it is normally very good. I believed this was the best Japanese food in town based on past food. It was not crowded. We ordered sushi to have first. Took a long time. When we received our Bento Box (also took a long time), the... More

Sada's is a gem hidden in the Willamette Valley. We have children who live in the Bay Area and Brooklyn, all of whom are foodies who love sushi. Probably the only thing everyone in our family agrees on is that Sada's offers the best sushi and sashimi and has the best Sake list of any restaurant any of us have... More

Sada is a nice guy. I remember when he first opened the place, and it was nice and quiet. I wondered if the business would survive, but it has. I owe this to the fact that the sushi is actually good unlike the other sushi places I have been to in town. Business has picked up, and along the way... More

There are 3 Japanese restaurants in Corvallis, this one is the best! I have been to Sada 4 times. Before Sada opened I went to the others No more. The sushi at Sada is always smooth, soft, tasty and just the right moistness and size. I have tried perhaps 8 different kinds of sashimi. Never disappointed. Reminds me of trips... More

There was a line when I got to the restaurant and the tables were all pretty full. I had to wait for a while before someone came to help. I had a reservation but still had to wait. So service is so-so, the only saving grace is the waitress served me a beer while i waited. We had only sushi... More

It's hard to gauge good sushi when you travel the world and there are many extremely good sushi joints for comparisons. I've eaten at Sada's 8-10 times, since they opened in Corvallis. Typical but tasty fare would be a good evaluation.

Sada's serves the freshest, tastiest and most interesting sushi of any Japanese restaurant I've ever eaten at. I "discovered" Sada's in Seal Rock. They (he, the chef) opened a restaurant in Newport and now in Corvallis. I'm ecstatic about that because one of my dreams for retirement was to be able to go out to eat sushi everyday, asking Sada... We love sushi, but had not visited here. I wish we had not waited so long! This could very well be our new favorite... sorry Aomatsu. Service was cheerful and efficient, decor is attractive and comfortable and the food... is the best part. A new "must visit" in Corvallis!
